The Howards of Virginia

The Howards of Virginia is a 1940 American drama movie directed by Frank Lloyd and was based on the 1939 novel The Tree of Liberty by Elizabeth Page. It stars Cary Grant, Martha Scott, Sir Cedric Hardwicke, Irving Bacon, Richard Carlson, Rita Quigley, Alan Marshal and was distributed by Columbia Pictures. It was nominated for 2 Academy Awards in 1941.
