Tarzan is an American 3D action adventure movie directed by David Yates and written by Stuart Beattie, Craig Brewer, John Collee, and Adam Cozad. It is based on the fictional character Tarzan created by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The movie stars Alexander Skarsgård, Margot Robbie, Christoph Waltz, and Samuel L. Jackson. It is a remake of the 1984 movie Greystoke: The Legend of Tarzan, Lord of the Apes. It was released on July 1, 2016.
