The Long Goodbye is a 1973 American crime thriller movie directed by Robert Altman and based on the 1953 novel of the same name by Raymond Chandler. It stars Elliott Gould, Sterling Hayden, Nina Van Pallandt, Jim Bouton, Mark Rydell, Arnold Schwarzenegger and was distributed by United Artists.
