Tim Waterstone

Sir Timothy John Stuart "Tim" Waterstone (born 30 May 1939 in Glasgow, Scotland) is the founder of Waterstones. Waterstones sells books in 288 stores and on the Waterstones website. There are Waterstones shops in the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Belgium and Ireland.

In 1973, Waterstone started working at W.H. Smith. He was fired in 1981. He started Waterstone's in 1982. The name was later changed to Waterstones.[1]
