Tony Messner
Anthony John Messner AM (born 24 September 1939) is an Australian politician. He is a member of the Liberal Party. He was a Senator for South Australia from 1975 to 1990. He also served as Minister for Veterans' Affairs (1980–1983) and as Administrator of Norfolk Island (1997–2003).
Messner was born in Melbourne, Victoria. From 1963 to 1983, he was married to Louise Ahrendt. They had two sons. In 1983, he married Robyn Rooke.[1]
