Tremolite has been involved in several product recalls and lawsuits:

  • A lawsuit was filed involving contaminated baby powder made by Johnson and Johnson.[1]
  • Tremolite sometimes occurs as a contaminant in vermiculite[2]
  • In 2019, a Jojo Siwa makeup kit was recalled after it tested positive for tremolite[3]
