Katrina Laverne Taylor (born on December 3, 1978),[1][2] professionally known as Trina, is an American rapper. She rose to fame in 1998. This is because of her appearance on the Trick Daddy single, "Nann Nigga".

Trina has been described as XXL by "the most consistent female rapper of all time".[3] In 2013, Complex has ranked her single "Pull Over" on number 27 on their Top 50 Best Rap Songs by Women.[4] In 2014, she has been included in Billboard's list of the "31 Female Rappers Who Changed Hip-Hop."[5]
