Tron: Ares (stylized TRON: Ares) is an upcoming American science fiction action movie. It is expected to released on October 10, 2025.[2] It was directed by Joachim Rønning and stars Jared Leto, Evan Peters, Jodie Turner-Smith, Greta Lee, Cameron Monaghan, Sarah Desjardins, Gillian Anderson, Hasan Minhaj, Arturo Castro, and Jeff Bridges.[3] It is the third movie in the Tron series and is also the sequel to the 2010 movie Tron: Legacy.

The movie is about an AI named Ares that is sent from the digital world to the real world on a mission.[4]

Principal photography for the movie started in Vancouver on January 19, 2024 and ended on May 1.[5][6]
