Ukrnafta
Ukrnafta is the largest oil company in Ukraine. It operates in Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Sumy, Chernihiv, Poltava and Kharkiv regions. The company has 2,571 oil and gas wells and 563 gas stations in 26 regions of Ukraine.[1]

Ukrnafta was established on February 23, 1994.
During 1997 and 1999, the authorized capital increased 21 times.[2]
As of 2018, the company had 82 special permits for the extraction of hydrocarbons, 43 drilling rigs and 537 gas stations.[3]
On July 31, 2020, Oleg Gez became the chairman of Ukrnafta.[4]
Owners[change | change source]
Since 1998, Naftogaz of Ukraine has owned a controlling stake.
42% of the shares belong to the structures of the Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky.[5]
8% of the shares belong to Littop Enterprises Limited, Dridgemont Ventures Limited and Bordo Management Limited (Cyprus).[6]

The Company consists of:
- 6 oil and gas production departments;
- 3 drilling departments;
- 3 gas processing plants;
- 1 oil refinery;
- 2 grouting controls;
- 2 central bases of production service;
- Poltava paramilitary unit for the prevention and elimination of open oil and gas fountains;
- Management of automated systems;
- Installation and adjustment management;
- Research and Design Institute;
- Center for Regulatory and Economic Research;
- Center for Geological and Thematic Research;
- Representation of the Company in the Russian Federation, the Middle East and North Africa.

The authorized capital of Ukrnafta (as of 2010) is UAH 1,355,7127.50.
The market capitalization of the company on January 1, 2011 was about 4,100, 000, 000 dollars.
In 2018, it increased net profit by 54.3% compared to the same period in 2017 — up to UAH 2 billion 61.468 million.[7]
