The 2021 United Kingdom norovirus epidemic was caused in England. More than 154 were infected in London, during the peak of COVID-19 pandemic-Alpha variant.[1]

In July 2021, the United Kingdom imposed lockdown to prevent the spreading of virus in the capital. The cases have increased in surge of 5 years later exceeded three times higher than previous viruses.[2]

It is a type of norovirus that spreads inside a person. It will cause vomiting and diarrhea in patients. It targets the stomach and will cause severe pain.[3][4]
