The University of the Humanities (Mongolian: Хүмүүнлэгийн ухааны их сургууль, abbreviated as UOH) is an accredited private university located in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Established in 1979, the university specializes in foreign languages, humanities, business administration, social sciences, and information technology.

History
[change | change source]The university has evolved through several developmental stages since its inception:
- 1979: Founded as the Russian Language Institute under the National University of Mongolia by a decree of the Council of Ministers of the People's Republic of Mongolia.
- 1982: Reorganized as an independent State Pedagogical Institute of the Russian Language.
- 1990: Expanded to become the Foreign Language Institute, offering linguistics, translation, and teaching programs.
- 1994–1995: Launched programs in Business Administration, Finance, Banking Management, and Journalism.
- 1996–1998: Commenced Master's and Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree programs. Reorganized as the School of Humanities.
- 1999: Successfully attained national accreditation and was renamed the University of the Humanities. The School of Business Administration was established.
- 2000–2003: Introduced Information Systems, Software Engineering, Graphic Design, and International Relations programs.
- 2006: Became a member of the Asia-Pacific Quality Network (APQN).
- 2009: Established the School of Information and Communication Management.
- 2015–2021: * Established the School of International Relations and Social Studies.
- Became a partner in the European Union's TACTIC, ERASMUS MUNDUS, and ARTEST projects.
- Became an official Cisco Networking Academy provider.

Accreditation
