M-105 was an old state trunkline highway in The Thumb area of the US state of Michigan. It was a connection between M-53 in Popple and M-83 (now M-142) near Elkton. It was in use in the 1920s and 1930s, and has not been in use since then.

Road details[change | change source]

M-105 started at an intersection with M-53 (Van Dyke Road) in the small town of Popple, before M-53 curved east to Bad Axe. Also named Pinnebog Road, the trunkline first travelled north. It then went northwest, crossing the Pinnebog River. After that, it intersects Stein Road. M-105 turned north for about three miles (4.8 km) through farm country. It ended meeting M-83 (Pigeon Road), a few miles east of Elkton. The highway served as a connection between M-53 and M-83.[5][3]

History[change | change source]

M-105 first went on maps in 1928.[1][2] It is no longer used after 1939 after it transferred to local control.[3][4][6]

Important intersections[change | change source]

The entire highway was in Colfax Township, Huron County.
