Eastern Standard Time Zone

I see you've reverted my revision to Eastern Standard Time Zone. I wonder why this was done. It is true that there are 3 different time zones called "eastern standard time zone". Before turning the page into a disambiguation page I had moved its contents to Eastern Time Zone (North America). As I see it, to remain true to fact, we have either of two choices:

1. generalise Eastern Standard Time Zone so as to cover all three zones by this name or
2. do as I had done & have Eastern Standard Time Zone a disambiguation page.

In my opinion the latter of these two would be the least confusing. Jimp 00:35, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

I deleted all the information on the page, yes, but not before I'd moved it to Eastern Time Zone (North America). I don't take pleasure in calling a well-intentioned person wrong but these are the relevant changes of mine:

I had duplicated the content first & then linked to there from the new disambig version of the original page. I would have used the Move button but for some reason, unbeknowns to me, it just wasn't there. I probably should have tried to figure out what had happened to it ... there's hastiness on my part. I've figured it out ... I mustn't have been logged in. I must have found no Move button, assumed that it didn't exist, decided to "move" the page the way I'd done a couple of times at Wikiversity i.e. with {{subst:: }} and just not noticed the appearance of the button after having logged in. Blogs

I replied on the talk page for mechanics, but thought I should add the info here as well. Per en:Wp:el#Links_normally_to_be_avoided #11, blogs should be avoided in most cases. They usually fail to meet the requirements for Reliable sources. Vande Mataram

Maraming salamat for expanding Vande Mataram. I improved upon it even more, simplifiying and adding the "Controversy"section from en.wikipedia, adding the official (shorter)version and translation, and categorisation. I was just wondering if I removed the deletion request correctly. Again, Maraming-maraming salamat, and please respond. Another Question

First of all, thanks for the links you posted on my talk page. They were useful (especially the "Requested Articles" one. I want to write an article on Names for Large Numbers and was wondering if it was alright for me to take information from normal Wikipedia and edit it down. Eg: Keep the information but re-word everything.

I am on the same side as you as to welcoming new users: wait till they make good mainspace edits. I usually take into consederation whether to welcome a new user right when they join. Possible sockpuppets (and vandals)

On the simple talk, where there is currently a poll going on, several users that have been suspeced to be sockpuppets also voted. As you first thought of them being sockpuppets, two users (whom I think are sockpuppets), Egyptgal26 and SNIPPIT both claimed that they weren't sockpuppets; while I find their edits on the simplewiki to be suspicious that they are sockpuppets [2] [3]. In addition, I think that two other users, Poctagon and Chickliscous may also be possible sockpuppets. SNIPPIT has claimed that he was from en wiki [4], which also may indicate that he is a cross-wiki harrasser and stalker. --§ Snake311 _{(T + C)} 19:28, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

Well I once gave out my idea for a RfCU on the RfA talk page, but a currently clear decision hasen't been ruled out yet. Also, to put it in a big picture, I think all of the last voters (well maybe except Joey although I'm not a 100% sure are possible sockpuppets in my guess. POV versus The Total Spoiler

I really need to ask why

1. you delete comments regarding the personality of Harry Potter which make up important themes in the Harry Potter stories, on the grounds that the are POV
2. Think it's OK to write the entire plot of the latest book when there is so much that can be said intelligently about the stories that young readers might benefit fom reading without giving the plot away.

Basically, any kid can spoil an ending. And the previous kids that have done it have achieved the same effect in three sentences.

I mean mean to upset you, after you've made a summary but just because some person puts up a "spoiler" on Wikipedia, doesn't mean that it is a good thing to do or we have to do the same on Simple English Wikipedia. I really don't think it is appropriate when there are so many other things to be said.

I've just written a blurb on the background, summary and themes which doesn't give the story away, except stating in the broadest sense that there is a quest and a conflict of interest, doesn't say if/who anyone significant died. --Amandajm 14:36, 22 July 2007 (UTC)

Sk8er Boi cover

Hi. I believe that all single covers are copyrighted, including that song's cover, and the Commons website does not accept copyrighted material uploaded. Assuming you are Isis4563 in Commons, I would probably be more careful about uploading these types of images there because I think they are not allowed. Also, English Wikipedia only permits single covers to be used under fair use, but I doubt Simple English accepts them because images can't be uploaded here. Just here to tell you this. In regards to this, Isis, one need not put the tag "<font face="Ariel">" before the signature. Actually, the font name is spelled "Arial" and most computers' regular font is Arial. The signature needs to be
