  • Studied and Captained at the Prestigious Nizam College (Hyderabad) & Osmania University Cricket Team in the inter university tournament year 1974-75.
  • Double National, who represented Senior State in two sporting disciplines – Cricket and Canoeing (Water Sports).
  • In 1991, when Government initiated to promote Sports in slum and conflict areas of Hyderabad city, Mr. K. Saibaba (through his Brainchild) started Sports Coaching Foundation (SCF) in partnership under PPP Model with the Government. Inspite of mammoth social odds and challenges, he transformed a conflict-hit & sensitive, discarded (around 1-acra area) public place at Masab Tank, Hyderabad City into NOW – the Most Sought Sporting Hub of the society. Hundreds of Thousands of BPL (Below Poverty Line) children & youth are taking advantage of modern sporting facilities of SCF. SCF focused on educating children beyond Sports in the realm of Human Values and Character Building. SCF Sports Complex, Hyderabad has provided a unique platform for the underprivileged and elite to participate in Sports for the last 25 years.
  • Mr. K. Saibaba is also the Central Proponent of ‘Build India Through Sports (BITS) Project’ of SCF, which has touched the lives of over 1 Lakh underprivileged children & youth and attracted them towards Sports & Games in over 200 Low-income institutions (Govt. Schools, Orphanage Homes etc.) all over India. SCF conducts Sports Awareness Clinics and Builds Sports Infrastructure. Further, SCF donates Excellent Sporting Equipment (made from recycled sporting products at optimized cost) – which attracts underprivileged children into Sports to primarily stay healthy. Mr. Saibaba has relentlessly promoted Sports in hundreds of public places voluntarily, proving that big stadiums are not required for promoting Basic Level Sports Culture.
  • For his invaluable and unmatched contributions towards Sports promotion among the underprivileged in Indian society for the last 25 years through SCF, Mr. K. Saibaba received the ‘Best Sports NGO Award in Social Change’ from the President of India. Under his guidance, SCF was also the ‘Most Awarded Sports NGO in 2015-16’ receiving Six National Level Prestigious Awards – Jindal Foundation (New Delhi), Americares India (Mumbai based). He also received the Best Manager Award from the National Confederation of Resident Welfare Association of India.
  • In November 2016, recognizing his outstanding services to the underprivileged, the ‘Peace and Sports Forum’ at Monte Carlo, Monaco (Europe) which is endorsed by the UN Advisor–invited and ranked SCF among the ‘Top 3 Best Sports NGOs in the World’ – an extremely prestigious international honor.
  • Won the "INTERNATIONAL SOCIAL IMPACT AWARD-2017" (Outstanding Volunteer Category) organized by Resource Alliance (UK) in coordination with Rockefeller Foundation (USA) at the Hotel Marriott Marquis Queens Park Hotel at Bangkok, Thailand on 27th June, 2017.
