Howie Mandel (born November 29, 1955) is a Canadian comedian, television star, and voice actor. He is known as the host of Deal or No Deal in America and Canada. Before he became a game show host, Mandel was best known as Dr. Wayne Fiscus on NBC's medical show, St. Elsewhere. He is also the creator and star of the children's cartoon Bobby's World. He became a judge on America's Got Talent in the show's fifth year, after David Hasselhoff left. Mandel has mysophobia (a strong fear of germs) and will not shake hands with anyone unless he is wearing latex gloves.[1]
