A Request

I am currently undertaking a project to improve the quality of the articles of English counties on the Simple English Wikipedia.

You may not have used (or even heard of) this particular Wikipedia before, but it provides articles in simple English (using a fairly small vocabulary - not necessarily Basic English and the like - and simple grammar) for those who are learning the language (either adults or children). It is my aim to improve the articles for English counties to the extent that content-wise they are as comprehensive as the main Wikipedia, but language-wise they are easy to understand for learners of English.

This is where I need your help, as contributors to the Marknew/English Counties/Request article. At present, the equivalent simple English article does not exist/is very short/lacks content/is nearly finished, but needs tidying up. If left to myself, the task of improving all the articles will take a long time (see the simple:Devon article as an example of the standard I am hoping to achieve). If anyone here feels that they would like to help, more information can be found at simple:User:Marknew/English Counties.
