The Asian Emerald Cuckoo ranges across Southeast Asia and is a protected animal in Malaysia.

Its scientific name is Chrysococcyx maculatus.

The Emerald Cuckoo, a bird, is warm blooded and shrouded in feathers over body and wing. It has a beak and no teeth. The Emerald Cuckoo's heart consists of four chambers, just like in humans.

Reproduction[change | change source]

Emerald Cuckoos reproduce by laying eggs. The eggs are hard shelled and produced in a nest built by the parents.
