The 53rd annual Grammy Awards was held on February 13, 2011 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. It was broadcast on CBS. Barbra Streisand was honored as the MusiCares Person of the Year two nights prior to the telecast on February 11. Most of the awards were awarded before the telecast. This took place next to the Staples Center. The eligibility period was September 1, 2009 to September 30, 2010.[1]
