I am an administrator in the English Wikipedia, but my first language is German.

I came here to this Wikipedia because someone pointed here from the English Wikipedia by writing this, and I liked the article about autism so much that I looked at evolution, which was the selected article today. But I did not like the evolution article as much as I liked the autism article, so I decided to help make it a little better. When I do that, I think of the 8 year old girl whose mother wanted a Wikipedia for her.
