RfD nomination of Drew Bontadelli[change source]

An editor has requested deletion of Drew Bontadelli, a page you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2023/Drew Bontadelli and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Sports announcer articles[change source]

Hi, and thanks for all your articles on sports announcers. When you create these articles, please include categories for:

  • The person's year of birth (or one of the year of birth missing categories)
  • Either Category:Living people or a category for the person's year of death

Also, articles about living people are supposed to have references. If you are bringing these articles over from the English Wikipedia, please include any references from the articles there and put attribution on the article's talk page here. Thanks! --Auntof6 (talk) 04:48, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. You are asked to refer to our guidelines, especially with regards to formatting and citing sources. If you continue to use inappropriate formatting and mass-create unreferenced articles, you may be blocked from editing. Chenzw  Talk  07:37, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have requested Quick Deletion for the new article stub, George Blaha. The article does not explain why he is notable. If you think this article should not be deleted, please say why on this article's talk page. Gotanda (talk) 21:55, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion warning[change source]

The large number of articles you have created do not follow our rules. Before you create any further sports broadcaster articles these need to be fixed. This is making a problem for other editors. If you are not sure about what to do please leave a message below, or on my talk page. If you do not do this, it is possible that every article you have written will be deleted. We would rather help you fix the pages. --Peterdownunder (talk) 22:56, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You can't just create articles with is just a list of jobs a person held. You need to expand the articles and write in paragraph form. I have and others have fixed most of your pages. But you continue to create them. It is likely some other admin is going to eventually block you for such editing. I would be unhappy to see that happen as you are creating a lot of articles we are missing. But to continue to ignore other people who have tried to get you to fix up your articles will likely get you into some hot water. -DJSasso (talk) 17:02, 28 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not use "currently" in sportscaster articles[change source]

Many of your articles begin like this "Name is sportcaster currently calling games for..." This information will change and the person will no longer "currently" call games for that team when they move to another team. All of these articles will become incorrect over time. Someone will have to fix them all. Please use a date such as "Name is sportcaster. As of 2012, he is calling games for..." and even better, please add a reference for the job they have now. It would be a good idea if you went back and fixed this in articles you have already made. Thanks, Gotanda (talk) 01:17, 22 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Quality, not quantity[change source]

Please refer back to the articles that you have created. As Djsasso has said above, you cannot create articles which are just lists of jobs someone has done. Please write your articles in paragraph form. Furthermore, it would be greatly appreciated if you could at least acknowledge all the messages that editors have left on this page for you. You can do so by editing this page. Note that continued ignorance on your part is likely to cause problems for you in light of the disruption you are causing to other editors. Chenzw  Talk  13:25, 2 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
