School IP address Attention:

This IP address, 85.12.93.2, is registered to Thurrock School and may be shared by many different users of a school. If the school uses proxy servers, this host may represent many users at many different actual computers.

Because of this, a message meant for one person may be gotten by another, and a block will be shared by many people. If you are editing from this address and are getting messages because of other people, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself. In some cases, you may not be able to create an account for a while because new account creation has been blocked to stop vandalism.

Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider a soft block.

Note: In the event of on going vandalism, anonymous editing from this IP address may not be allowed for up to 6 months at a time while abuse reports may be sent to your school administration for investigation in cases of long-term abuse by registered users.

December 2010[change source]

You have been blocked from changing Wikipedia for 72 hours for vandalism.

Once the block has ended you can make helpful changes. Please read Wikipedia's blocking policy and remember that adding spam, making changes that do not have a neutral point of view, making personal attacks on others, not respecting other people's privacy, and vandalizing pages are not allowed. If you do any of these things, you will be blocked again.

If you think this block is unfair, you can ask to be unblocked by adding {{Unblock|your reason here}} below. If you cannot do this or the reason is private please send an e-mail to simple-admins-l@lists.wikimedia.org and an administrator will look at your reason and reply. You may want to consider reading our guide to unblock requests before requesting to be unblocked. Peterdownunder (talk) 09:29, 15 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is the only warning you will get for your disruptive comments. If you make another personal attack on another person as you did at Shingles, you will be blocked for disruption. Talk about the changes editors have made, not the editors. Normandie Talk! 19:40, 17 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Or, you can type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will soon answer your questions. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Your recent changes, like those to Harp, are vandalism and are not acceptable on Wikipedia. Please stop. If you continue vandalizing, you will be blocked from changing pages on Wikipedia. Chenzw  Talk  12:51, 10 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

To edit, please make an account at home and log in with it here.

Due to repeated vandalism (see change log), editing by anonymous users from your school, library or institution's IP address may be currently disabled. You can still read the encyclopedia. To stop abuse, account creation using this IP address is probably also disabled.

If editing is required for class projects, please have your teacher or network administrator contact us (with reference to this IP address) at simple-admins-l from an email address listed on your school's website. Alternatively, if you have no Internet access at home, you may email us using your school's email address, telling us which username you would like. An account will be made for you. Please check this list that the user name you chose has not already been taken.

Thank you. — Chenzw  Talk  12:53, 10 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

May 2016[change source]

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently made a new article or made changes to one, for example "Corringham Primary School", by adding things copied from a book, magazine, newspaper or another website without the permission of the copyright holder. Many sources, including websites found on the Internet, are copyrighted. I'm afraid Wikipedia cannot accept any things copied from these sources as it can get Wikipedia into serious legal trouble. The article or changes have been or will soon be deleted. Next time, please look up sources to find out information for articles and explain it in your own words, and don't copy sentences or images from them. Thank you.
