your edits[change source]

Hello, i looked at your edit of Angel of Death. It is well done (although there are some similarities to the English Wikipedia). When you edit articles, please provide some outgoing links (like to Islam). I also added the {{stub}} tag (for short articles), and an image. Thanks, and have fun editing. --Eptalon (talk) 19:09, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

They are talking about you on Simple talk[change source]

I am not sure if you are aware of it, but you are currently being talked about here. Just wanted to let you know. Thank you for all those contributions, by the way. --Eptalon (talk) 21:46, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello...[change source]

I noticed you've created many articles, so I wanted to remind you that when you create a short article, that you should put {{stub}} below the text. But I thank you for your edits lately. Cheers -- America †alk 20:07, 13 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

When creating new articles, please be sure to type {{stub}} at the bottom of the page, right before the category. That will make

appear. Thank you. --Andrew from NC (talk) 12:55, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Long message, mostly about policies, and creating an account[change source]

I am sorry to bother you again; but some editors (see here) think that you may not be aware of some policies and guidelines of ours here:

  • Neutral Point of View: This says that articles should be neutral; We try to tell what the situation is, we do not say that this side is right, and that side is wrong.
  • Assume Good Faith: This says that people do not do things wrong on purpose, usually
  • Please do not bite the newcomers New editors are important (especially for our small project such as this one). It is best not to scare them away.
  • In general, do not copy pages directly from English Wikipedia (or other Wikipedias), without simplifying them; It is also a good idea to give the interwiki link (to English Wikipedia, for example)
  • Add the {{stub}} tag to short pages; this helps others find short pages to improve. Many of the articles listed here (just examples) have been stubs for a very long time.

I have seen that you make many edits (especially on Pakistan-related topics, you are probably the only editor with this background here at the moment). It would therefore be good if you create an account. This will give you some benefits:

  • You can adapt the user interface more; you can also set a language for all the messages, for example
  • You can set an Email address (this is not required; it will not be revealed to other editors)
  • Other people can contact you more easily.
  • You can participate in votes. Our current votes are those for new admins and those for good or very good articles)
  • If you have set an email address in your profile; other people can contact you by email, you can also contact other people by email. The people contacting you will not know your email address.

I am a CheckUser here. This means, to fight vandals, I can look up information on named accounts; the information I see are the IP-Address (this set of numbers), and the User-agent (something your browser sends that identifies your browser). A special policy says that I am usually not allowed to tell that info to other editors. This information (IP-address, and browser) is hidden when you create an account (and only edit when you are logged in). The user-agent of the browser is hidden all the time. What I am trying to say is: there is little personal information involved in using an account). Since you edit a lot, creating an account would probably be a good idea - use the link in the welcome message above, for example.

In general, we are working together to solve problems; for this we leave messages (like this one) at talk pages of other people. There are generally two things an article needs, the facts and the language; simplifying the language to a level that is easy to understand is the easier part; getting the facts together usually is the harder part. You will be able to contribute many facts (about Pakistan, for example); don't be afraid to use your English to communicate.--Eptalon (talk) 23:46, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

interlanguage links please[change source]

Hi,

most of the articles you create are based on the same article on the en-wiki. While you are at it, could you please create the interlanguage link to en everytime you make a new article? It would save me (and others) a lot of work. Thanks! JurgenG (talk) 08:27, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How to change your language[change source]

Hi, I thought you would like to know how to do this:

You can change the language some of the messages that are on Wikipedia by doing this:

I have made a picture for you to look at.

Hope this helps,

Categories[change source]

Hello, please don't add categories until they have been created. Thanks. Majorly talk 15:17, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And please don't add every animal that can be found in Pakistan to Category:Fauna of Pakistan, like the domestic pig. Can you imagine how many countries could claim the pig was one of its fauna? There'd be dozens of them and that makes the category unhelpful. The Rambling Man (talk) 16:06, 2 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kashmir[change source]

Hello, can you have a look at this post on Simple talk, please? - It is about how we should best speak about the territories in Kashmir, if possible without saying that this territory should belong to that state. You might have worthwile input, as you seem to know about these things. --Eptalon (talk) 14:24, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Warning 1[change source]

This is your first warning. Please do not remove RFD tags from article pages like you did here[1]. If you continue to behave in this manner I will have to request that you shoud be blocked.--Deepak D'Souza (talk) 12:51, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lake articles[change source]

Thanks for your creations, but please follow our house style when creating new pages. Your articles don't follow this, and some may consider your articles not particularly notable. Please slow down. Additionally, please consider creating an account. Majorly talk 19:54, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I notice you're still not creating articles properly. They start with bold text of the title, and should have a reference, and {{stub}} You aren't adding them, and are being uncommunicative. Please cease this behaviour, and contribute positively. Majorly talk 20:11, 8 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello again; thank you for all these geography-related articles you created. As a minor point could you format them like most of us do here, as specified in the Wikipedia Manual of Style (that is a rather long and unwieldy text, don't read it if you don't like to. The gist of it: We use bold type the first time the concept is used the article is about. To see a concrete example, look at this edit I made to Harmukh Mountain (I also added the {{stub}} tag). Have fun editing. --Eptalon (talk) 13:04, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're still creating articles that don't follow guidelines, despite having been asked. You're a good contributor, but your articles that are two sentences long are not articles, and I've had to delete them. Please follow the correct style when making articles in future. To not do so is disruptive and will result in further blocks. Majorly talk 00:12, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki format[change source]

Please can you add {{stub}} to any short articles you create in the future please. Can you also put in some categories and interwiki links. If you don't know how just ask me or any other experienced user. Cheers. The Flying Spaghetti Monster! 17:42, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[change source]

You have been blocked as it says in Wikipedia's blocking policy. If you do not agree with this block, please reply on your talk page by adding {{unblock|reason}}, replacing reason with why you think the block is wrong, or send an e-mail to an active administrator in this list. Dear User, you seem to have created some time ago a fake article on a supposed Green Party of Pakistan which, to the best of my knowledge, doesnt exist at all. A number of things, information given there is blatantly fake/false and this seems to be a hoax. The supposed website doesnt go anywhere either. Could you please explain/justify your claims about this party etc? Regards, Hamneto (talk) 11:44, 25 November 2012 (UTC)Hamneto[reply]

I helped you with the utmankhel article you created! Hope you like my help! :D —This unsigned comment was added by DogPog1000 (talkchanges) 06:10, 15 December 2015‎ (UTC)
