Categories[change source]

I just removed the category you added to Hurricane Donna. You added Category:Severe weather. However, the article was already in Category:Hurricanes. Category:Hurricanes (the category that was already there) is under Category:Tropical cyclones, which is under Category:Severe weather (the category you added).

When I removed the other categories you added, it was for similar reasons. I gave you a link to Wikipedia:Categories#Choosing the correct category before, because this issue is explained there. Please read that and let me know if you have any questions. Please don't add a category if a subcategory of it is already on the page. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 07:50, 26 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry. I am still trying to get used to things here. --AkifumiiTalk 15:48, 26 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
OK, but this particular thing is the same on English Wikipedia. It's not unique to here. --Auntof6 (talk) 18:20, 26 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Auntof6: I don't usually add categories on the English Wikipedia. I will read that link you sent me thanks. --AkifumiiTalk 02:28, 27 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Good faith edits[change source]

I saw this revert you did with the edit summary "reverted good faith edits". The change you reverted was not a good faith edit. A good faith edit is one that can reasonably be seen as an attempt to make a helpful edit, but which is not a good edit for some reason. Let me know if you have any questions about this. --Auntof6 (talk) 16:24, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@Auntof6: Thanks for catching that. I will try to be more careful. A2 18:56, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Please be more careful in encouraging administratorship too... Ophedi (talk) 22:07, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Ophedi: What do you mean? A2 00:57, 18 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Akifumii, I found some simple instructions for nominated a user for adminship. It's in the Wikipedia:Requests for permissions subheading Administrator. There's the instructions. --TDKR Chicago 101 (talk) 18:25, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Blanked user page[change source]

Hi, Akufumii. I saw that you blanked your userpage. Sometimes blanking a user page means that a user wants the page deleted. Do you want your user page deleted? I just wanted to double check before deleting it. Let me know. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 06:16, 15 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
