Thanks alot for the Barnstar!--CPacker (talk) 20:31, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry if that was a mistake, but I was going by this. Unless I read wrong, it states that titles should be in the singular form, not plural. TheWolf 17:38, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's no problem at all, I was just going by the book, I wasn't aware it was written in plural on EN. And it's good to meet you too. TheWolf 17:44, 30 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Help

I was just looking over the article for Professional wrestling and it calls wrestling pretend. While this is accurate, it's not entirely accurate. Could you help me find a more accurate word while remaining Simple? --    ChristianMan16  03:20, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What kind of word are you looking to replace? Cheers, Razorflame 03:44, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Copts

The Coptic Church of Alexandria is the leading Church of the Oriental Orthodox (not the Eastern Orthodox). They split over questions of what Christ is like (One-nature vs. several natures) at the Council of Chalcedon. I have therefore moved the Category to its correct place. --Eptalon (talk) 21:57, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Read en:Oriental Orthodoxy, that will lighten up the situation. Very basically: There were "oecumenical councils" - where the bishops met to discuss matters of faith. Ecumenical council lists the first seven or eight (after that, it was basically the roman catholic church who held them). In short, the Old Oriental Church (Oriental Orthodoxy) split at the fourth (Chalcedon) over questions of what Christs nature is supposed to be like (it said: two natures, in hypostatic union), the Oriental Orthodox (and the Copts) said One nature (Monophysitism/Miaphysitism) - so they split (also for political reasons). The Copts are however the biggest and most visible of the Oriental Orthodox churches, so I put them there. Unfortunately, i cannot do much with theology, so my explanation probably sucks. EnWP has articles for all of these positions. As these subjects are rather complex, most of them do not yet exist in Simple Wikipedia. --Eptalon (talk) 22:54, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

DEFAULTSORT and BD

Hi there! I've noticed that you've been putting the defsort tag onto the same article that you put the {{BD}} template onto, and I would just like to say this: It isn't necessary. The {{BD}} template already has a DEFSORT built into it, which makes putting the defsort tag onto the same article redundant. Defaultsort is mainly used for articles that are not about people (biographical articles), like articles about rivers, or articles about cities (for example). Do you think you could go back through the articles that you've created and remove the defsort tag from them if they already have the {{BD}} template on them? Cheers, Razorflame 23:02, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I checked all of the categories that Fanny Crosby appears in, and it does indeed do the same thing that defsort does. Cheers, Razorflame 23:15, 31 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you have a to-do list and that you are allowing other people to add stuff to it. I am going to give you some challenging tasks to complete to see how well you can complete them. I am sure you will be able to complete them as they aren't that challenging. Cheers, Razorflame 02:49, 1 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering if you would like to join Wikiproject Anti-Vandalism? Because I noticed you been changing lots of edits, due to they were vandalism.

Question about Infoboxes

Hi - and thanks for the second barnstar!! How do you put in the infoboxes about a place? When you fixed the Cape Schanck page for me you added an infobox that contained data about the place eg temperature, population, postcode etc. How do you do it? I have created a page for Jugiong, New South Wales and I would like to put in an infobox for it. PeterdownunderPeterdownunder (talk) 13:26, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

EMT capitalization

Hi there. Perhaps you might not know, but EMT is a job description and all E, M and T are capitalized. EMTs are actually quite sensitive to this. Perhaps we can move it back? Bstone (talk) 16:33, 12 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah. EMT is an acronym. Also, being an EMT we are a bit sensitive to being taken seriously, and even capitalization of our acronym is important. Thanks, sir. Cheers. Bstone (talk) 04:52, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Te Deum

Hello American Eagle, since you seem to have a Christian background as well, could you have a quick look at Te Deum. It seems to be one of the three well-known professions of faith (The other are the Nicene Creed Credo, and the Athanasian Creed Quicumque vult). I have tried to bring all three of them into Simple English. They may need touch up though, as English is not my mother tongue. --Eptalon (talk) 23:12, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
