Welcome[change source]

Hello! I noticed that you may have come here from another Wikipedia, so you know a little about how things work here. I hope you like it here and decide to stay! Here are some links to help you adjust:

There's a lot to do here. Most of it is writing articles that do not exist yet, which you can do by translating from other Wikipedias, but have a look around and see what you want to do. Thanks for joining us, and you know how to contact me if you need any help. Etamni | ✉   12:10, 12 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Etamni course yes, I have indeed . I have a global account but my main account is on Wikipedia French. I think continue my adventure here even if I do not control too much English. Thank you for the welcoming Apipo1907 (talk) 16:44, 12 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

July 2016[change source]

Hello! Thank you for creating Category:Settlements in the Republic of the Congo. However, we normally need at least three pages in a category before it is created. Because categories are a way to group together similar articles, there is no need to create a new category for just one or two articles. If you think there might be more pages to add to the new category, please add them now. Thank you.

Another note is that our standard name for this kind of category is "Settlements in" instead of "Populated places in". I have moved the category to that naming. Auntof6 (talk) 06:01, 24 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Apipo1907. When you revert a user's changes, like you did earlier, don't forget to leave the user a message on their talk page. You may find Template:User talk page warnings/table useful when doing this, to let them know that the change was considered inappropriate, and to direct them to the sandbox. Thank you. — MBlaze Lightning 15:12, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Declining QD's[change source]

Please do not remove a QD, and list it as declined. That is for an Administrator to determine, its validity as a QD. -- Enfcer (talk) 16:30, 9 October 2016 (UTC) Yes Enfcer I understand but a firenado is a fire tornado. A redirect was also well than remove. Apipo1907 (talk) 16:34, 9 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

While a Firenado is a tornado, tornado does not have a listing about Firenado's, as such in my opinion is an invalid redirect. But if you feel it could or should be there, you could create a sub heading under tornado with the information on a Firenado, and then recreate the Firenade and redirect there. But without any information, it could cause confusion for anyone looking for it. -- Enfcer (talk) 16:39, 9 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Enfcer in English Wikipedia, Tornado item content Fire whirls or Firenado see en:Tornado#Fire whirls but that doesn't Simple Wikipedia. And Firenado is redirect to Fire whirts because this two words have a common meaning see en:Firenado. This removing is bad. Apipo1907 (talk) 16:48, 9 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Again if you want to add a section on Firenadoes or Fire Whirls you can, and then recreate and redirect there. But since we do not have that it was an improper redirect. Also declining QD's are to be done by admin's. If you want to correct a problem that is what is causing a qd, then fix it, and leave a comment on the talk with the wait tag. Not an outright decline. Also en.wiki does have other policies then we do, and we can not rely on examples from there for all issues. --Enfcer (talk) 16:55, 9 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Enfcer I'm new here and I do not know if authorized decliner of a QD, now I know and believe me, this is the last time that this error comette. The rules and policies are not the same but all are encyclopedias trated common subjects, it's just an example that I have taken, it is all over in all wikis : you can go check this article. Am I out policies of here? Apipo1907 (talk) 17:15, 9 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Service award[change source]

Congratulations! You have now passed your 600th edit and are qualified to display the following award. BTW, you may use any form of the award you like and you may award it to yourself (although it always seems better if someone else awards it to you). Now if you notice an editor is due a service award (time plus edits), pay it forward and award it to them! Rus793 (talk) 18:42, 26 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Go back to "last good"[change source]

When you revert, make sure you go back to the last good version. Some IP vandals are adept at doing two or three revisions in a very short space of time. Cheers, Macdonald-ross (talk) 14:53, 9 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Okay Macdonald-ross but rollback simplify things Apipo1907 (talk) 15:01, 9 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
