While you are technically allowed to contribute about yourself or your company Conflicts of Interest are important to reveal and it can be very tough to write a neutral article about a subject you are deeply involved in. You may want to read WP:COI to see some of our reasoning, I can link you to some EnWiki articles about how to do it well to. The other problem that we have to look at is that we only allow articles about a company (or person) that is notable and require a reliable source for all information (except for specific info it really can't come just from your company website for example). Thanks for the info. I see it is more complicated than I thought and I have to get some reading done. As a first attempt at WP, I just wanted to start the subject and eventually it will be populated by other people. May I offer some advice? You can write about a tpoic you are personally involved with, but you'd need to do it in collaboration with someone here. I'd recommend you start a copy of your article in you userspace User:Artoncapital/Article and let someone review it for a NPOV. fr33kman ^talk 03:39, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
