Block

Hi! Sorry for the delay, I wanted to reply but I simply forgot; ironically, the tab remained open on my browser so I could replay and I simply forgot. As for the user in question, a user at the project has informed us that @Quakewoody: had been blocked indefinitely on more than one Wikipedia, which was further affirmed by a trusted user from our project (@Zblace:). In his comment, the latter stated that the user met the criteria for a global ban (which explains my explanation for the block) and suggested that he be blocked on our project as well due to the fact that he has demonstrated "unconstructive, discriminating, and suppressive editing" ("nekonstruktivnom, diskriminirajućem i supresivnom editiranju"), which I agreed with. He has been blocked on our project because I agreed with the evaluation; the user has targeted minority groups and had disruptive edits on our project which go against the policy of tolerance we adhere to. Also, the user doesn't even speak Serbo-Croatian and it seemed that his only goal for coming to our project was to disrupt the discussion and express his anti-LGBT sentiments. Users have been blocked such reasons on our project before, as we do not tolerate such behaviour. The "global ban" in the rationale seems to be an error from my side, as I thought - at the time - that he had already been blocked globally ba the individual Wikis but did not receive a global ban from Meta, despite meeting the conditions. The rationale is a mistake from my side, but I do not think that the user has constructive and non-disrupting intentions on our project, which is why I think that the block is valid.

If you think it an error, I am more than happy to reconsider my decision. One again, I apologize for the delay! --Edgar Allan Poe (talk) 11:55, 22 February 2021 (UTC)

My colleague has, in the meantime, intervened and unblocked the user. I shan't contest that decision as I trust his judgement in any case. I hope this clears things up :) --Edgar Allan Poe (talk) 12:37, 22 February 2021 (UTC)
