From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hello! I noticed that you may have come here from another Wikipedia, so you know a little about how things work here. I hope you like it here and decide to stay! Here are some links to help you adjust:

There's a lot to do here. Most of it is writing articles that do not exist yet, which you can do by translating from other Wikipedias, but have a look around and see what you want to do. Thanks for joining us, and you know how to contact me if you need any help. I also come from the English Wikipedia. WayneSlam 22:17, 12 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I remember seeing you on duty patrolling recent changes on English Wikipedia. Glad you're here! This lousy T-shirt (talk) 03:51, 16 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Baseball coverage[change source]

Thanks for cleaning up our baseball coverage. It's been long overdue for somebody to take a good stab at it. Kansan (talk) 20:52, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Stub template[change source]

Hi Baseball Watcher. FYI, new stub templates have to go through the Simple Stub Project to get approved; that's why I redirected Template:Baseball-stub. Thanks for your work so far! --SEPTActaMTA8235 21:32, 22 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Prime Minister of Italy[change source]

Thanks for this new article. I just wanted to let you know that I changed some of the wording. Instead of saying something like "the current Prime Minister is...", it's better to say that a person "became Prime Minister on". That's because eventually there will be a different prime minister, and this way the wording will still be correct. "Current" and "currently" are usually words to avoid in encyclopedia articles. Thanks! --Auntof6 (talk) 19:38, 30 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

New categories[change source]

You might not have known, but here on Simple English Wikipedia we want at least three entries in each new category. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Categories#Is there a need for the new category? Your new categories for One Direction songs and albums had only one, so I recategorized the articles in them and deleted the categories. You are welcome to recreate the categories when there are three articles for each of them. Feel free to let me know if you have questions about this. --Auntof6 (talk) 03:06, 2 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your help and assistance but I wish I had a chance to finish creating the remaining articles to adhere to the rule. Baseball Watcher 00:22, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
You can still create the articles. Just wait until there are at least three articles before creating the categories. --Auntof6 (talk) 02:00, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No I get that but otherwise, Thank You. Baseball Watcher 03:59, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

QD declined on Funassyi[change source]

I declined your QD request on this article because the WP:QD#A4 option doesn't apply. It was hard to figure out, but the article isn't about an actual person. It's about a mascot. The A4 option applies only to people, groups, companies and websites. You're welcome to take the article to rfd for notability if you want -- I for one would support that. --Auntof6 (talk) 05:49, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Advice and Review My Article[change source]

https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_Cognitive_Theory

Hello Baseball Watcher. I was wondering if you have time to review and go over my article on Social Cognitive Theory. If you can, could you offer me any advice and look for any revisions that may help me with my article? I've looked over the help pages already and was hoping to get more insight from you.

Thank you! Jimmy.nguyen1 (talk) 22:17, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize for the long wait (more than a week) :(; but when I find the time I will be more than happy to go over it as you requested above and hopefully I will be able to go thru it within the next few days. Thanks for hanging in! Baseball Watcher 00:01, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
