December 2019[change source]

Hi, please do not add silly statements to articles. Such as the statement on the Nazi Party. -- Brian R Hunter (talk) 10:10, 23 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

User:Brian R Hunter It wasn't meant to be a silly statement. This is the Simple English Wikipedia. I needed to express the magnitude of their wrongs without using advanced words. Beaneater (contact me) (see my edits) 15:28, 23 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Quote "and were so very rude" is not using simple words to describe the Nazi party. "Rude" and "holocaust" do not belong in the same sentence. We are talking to people learning English not two year old children who need protecting. -- Brian R Hunter (talk) 15:36, 23 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Quick deletion of McCool, Mississippi[change source]

The page you wrote, McCool, Mississippi, has been selected for quick deletion. This is because the page Unsimplified copy-paste from EnWP without attribution. If you think this page should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. You can find more information about the reason here. --Gotanda (talk) 00:33, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Kosciusko, Mississippi too[change source]

Simplifying one or two words but then leaving whole long, complicated sections as copy-paste articles is not acceptable on this wiki. It is Simple English--not a copy of English Wikipedia. You also must give attribution when simplifying from EnWP. See Wikipedia:How_to_copy_from_another_Wikipedia. --Gotanda (talk) 00:37, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You can see that djsasso saved these articles by simplifying them and adding attribution. I then simplified them more. You now have three examples of how to do this correctly. So, please follow these examples in the future, and maybe send dj some thanks. --Gotanda (talk) 07:46, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for informing me of the proper procedure. Beaneater (contact me) (see my edits) 21:29, 8 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Monarchy of Ireland[change source]

Are you going to simplify that? The language is still much too complex for an article adapted from EnWP. There are too many compound or complex sentence. Break everything down into simple subject verb object sentences, please. --Gotanda (talk) 22:34, 9 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have simplified the article. Beaneater (contact me) (see my edits) 03:14, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Quick Tip[change source]

Hi Bean, when creating an article, but you are still in the process of simplifying it, please put the {{Simplifying}} tag. If you have any questions, again, just send me a message on my talk page
Happy editing! rollingbarrels (talk) 03:43, 10 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Quick-delöetion of Cactus pear?[change source]

Hello there, you recently nominated the article cactus pear for deletion. I am not a native english speaker, but the article did not look like nonsense to me. Cacti of the genus Opuntia, are called prickly pear (esp. Opuntia ficus indica). Calling their fruit cactus pear, is something that I could see, I don't know if the word is used in English. Next time, please don't flag such articles for deletion, or provide a better rationale, why they should be deleted quickly.--Eptalon (talk) 12:29, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The word is used in English, but the article has no formatting, no interwiki links, bad and unprofessional grammar, and only two short sentences. Beaneater (contact me) (see my edits) 12:33, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I think the currect solution (reirect to Opuntia/prickly pear) is a good one. Thank you for noticing the article. --Eptalon (talk) 12:59, 16 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Year of the Three Emperors[change source]

Hello, you recently nominated Year of the Three Emperors for quick-deletion (too complex, copied from EnWP). I have declined the request. If you want to see the article deleted, please go thtough regular RfD. Thanks.--Eptalon (talk) 14:39, 30 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I've decided to simplify and improve that article rather than having it RfD'd. But please delete the Fredrick III, German Emperor article. It's copied from enwiki (albeit changed to the wrong name) and has no simplification at all. Beaneater (talk to me) (see my edits) / 14:47, 30 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Children Dying Hurray[change source]

If Children Dying Hurray was a song would that be a good song? 174.19.7.38 (talk) 03:37, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@174.19.7.38: I don't know, and that isn't the topic at hand. It does not exist, and as such it should not have an article on the Simple English Wikipedia. Beaneater (talk to me) (see my edits) / 03:39, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
What do you think? 174.19.7.38 (talk) 03:41, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@174.19.7.38: What do I think about what? Beaneater (talk to me) (see my edits) / 03:43, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Do you think Children Dying Hurray is a good song? 174.19.7.38 (talk) 04:12, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@174.19.7.38: As far as I know, there's no song that exists that is called Children Dying Hurray. Beaneater (talk to me) (see my edits) / 04:13, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Just please answer my question, I'm not saying it does, but come on, I'm just saying imagine if it does exist, would it be good or bad. 174.19.7.38 (talk) 04:17, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@174.19.7.38: How can I know if I haven't heard it because it doesn't exist? Beaneater (talk to me) (see my edits) / 04:18, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Here's how the song goes like.
Song: Children Dying Hurray, Your child is dead, and I'm glad it's true It's Children Dying Hurray, your childs dead ha ha ha ha ha ha I say Children Dying Hurray, we don't care, if your feelings hurt, rather your life goes on, we would laugh if your child dies, we would laugh together, Children Dying Hurray. 174.19.7.38 (talk) 04:27, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@174.19.7.38: I think that that would be a very bad song. Beaneater (talk to me) (see my edits) / 04:28, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. 174.19.7.38 (talk) 04:29, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Cherokee Nation v. Georgia[change source]

Hello, your QD request for Cherokee Nation v. Georgia has been contested. I wikified the current article, and rephrased it slightly. If you still think the article should be deleted go through an RfD please. --Eptalon (talk) 00:11, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for improving the article. I didn't see the fixes the author had made to the article before you declined the QD request, and if I had I would have removed it. Beaneater (talk to me) (see my edits) / 00:54, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not feed the trolls[change source]

Please refrain from inserting your personal comments when dealing with vandals, like you did in Neleus. You might want to see WP:DENY for more information. Chenzw  Talk  01:13, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Data Discman[change source]

Hello, I have declined your QD request for Data Discman (which was contested). The article is a result of content translation, and the language looks fairly simple. If you still think the page should be deleted, please go through regular RfD.--Eptalon (talk) 19:59, 7 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

LTE full form[change source]

Unfortunately, articles cannot be QD'd merely due to poor quality, unless the article also unambiguously qualifies for a related QD reason (G1, A4 etc.). Poorly written articles may be considered at RfD instead if improvement or rewrite is impossible for the article. Chenzw  Talk  14:48, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You prevented the bot from automatically clearing entries because you left a comment there :(

Please do not edit the above page in future - it is meant solely for the anti-vandalism bot to report persistent vandals. Blocking of vandals is not exactly a vote, anyway. Chenzw  Talk  15:15, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Acknowledged, will not repeat mistake Beaneater (talk to me) (see my edits) 15:24, 2 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Declined Quick Deletion for Geryon[change source]

Hello, I declined quick deletion for Geryon. In this case, it did say something about the character. If you don't think the character is notable, you can nominate the article for discussed deletion at WP:RFD Naddruf (talk) 05:59, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Automatic QD notification[change source]

Hiya, sorry about the QD notification on your talk page. It was odd that since you moved the page, history showed your edit as the first one, so when Twinkle notified the "creator", it did it to your talk page as a result. I just realised it may have done that since the page you moved was probably already QDed. This particular editor keeps on adding redirect to pages s/he created, which adds so much confusion. --Infogapp1 (talk) 15:31, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

RfD nomination of 1389 (number)[change source]

An editor has requested deletion of 1389 (number), an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. --Ferien (talk) 10:09, 4 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Quick deletion of Diet of Worms[change source]
