Your qd of Kobe 8

I declined this qd, because the notability criterion (A4) doesn't apply to things. It only applies to people, groups, companies and websites. All articles need to be about notable topics, but if an article isn't about one of those things, it has to go to WP:RFD to be deleted. Feel free to take Kobe 8 there! --Auntof6 (talk) 01:59, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, thanks for the reminder and i'll take the article over to RFD. Sorry for any inconvenience I've caused you, it's been a while since I last edited. --Beefball Talk 08:21, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
No problem, I've done the same thing! --Auntof6 (talk) 08:29, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

DuckTales

Just letting you know that I removed the cleanup tag you put on this article, because I didn't see anything that needed cleaning up. If you think there is a need for cleanup, you can put the tag back, but please explain the problem on the talk page. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 06:02, 28 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies, indeed I do not see anything requiring cleanup. I'll take extra caution when tagging pages next time. --Beefball Talk 08:32, 28 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your leave me a message button.

I have borrowed the code for you leave me a message button. Is that alright? I will get rid of the one on my page if you do not like the fact I am borrowing it. ThanksPending(tell me I screwed up and where) 18:21, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your QD of José Carlos Ruiz González

Hi, regarding José Carlos Ruiz González, I've refused your QD of it. The article does claim notability in the sense that he competed at the Paralympic games and was 3rd best in his category. If you don't think he's notable enough then you can take it to WP:RFD? Regards, Kennedy (talk) 16:35, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Quick Deletion of Amctv.com

I have created a different page for AMC and it includes amctv.com. (most of it). I was wondering if you would withdraw your request for quick deletion so that I could change the article into a redirect to the new article I created. Pending(tell me I screwed up and where) 20:23, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Done, and I've redirected it to your new article already. --Beefball Talk 03:39, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Pending(tell me I screwed up and where)

Background color

I used to know how to add background color, but no longer remember. Could you please refresh me? Pending(tell me I screwed up and where)

Background colour for what in exact? --Beefball Talk 14:43, 9 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I am experimenting with stuff in my sandbox. Particularly I would like to know how to add background color to a (self-made)banner. Pending(tell me I screwed up and where)
I'm sorry, I would love to help but unfortunately I too have returned from a long period of inactivity. Perhaps you can ask some of the more experienced editors on this wiki? Best regards, Beefball Talk 15:30, 9 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Welcome back! Pending(tell me I screwed up and where)

I changed it. now it is polite. — This unsigned comment was added by Datmysteriousguy (talk • changes) on 19:54, 11 December 2013.

Disambiguating

I'm wondering what you're using to disambiguate terms. This change didn't pick a correct option for "romance". It picked "romance(love)", which doesn't exist, instead of just "love", which is what is on our dab page for romance. Whatever tool you're using might need some tweaking. Just a heads-up. --Auntof6 (talk) 07:49, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Noted with thanks. It does appear to me that human error (i.e., me) was behind this error. My apologies for constantly hassling you. --Beefball Talk 12:41, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I don't feel hassled. :) --Auntof6 (talk) 17:22, 6 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It's great to see someone working on dab links! One note: for words like Scottish and English, when those words apply to people, it's better to disambiguate to something like Scottish people or English people when you can, instead of to Scotland or England. Thanks! --Auntof6 (talk) 10:37, 8 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I'll take note of that in the future. Thanks for the reminder! --Beefball Talk 13:12, 8 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Might I suggest that you not disambiguate to Wiktionary links so much? The reason is that the Wiktionary entries would normally list all meanings of the word, so pointing there doesn't really help. Besides that, linking to Wiktionary should be a last resort: it's much better to rephrase the text to make the meaning clear. Thanks. :) --Auntof6 (talk) 08:32, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, I'll take heed. --Beefball Talk 10:26, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback

Hello, per WP:RFRB I have granted you rollback. Please take the time to read WP:ROLLBACK and perhaps try it out on the sandbox. Only vandalism should be reverted, everything else undone. Any questions; just ask. :) Regards, Kennedy (talk) 09:55, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notability guidelines

Hi Beefball, you do not need to quote English Wikipedia notability guidelines, we do have our own, similar but simpler too. See Wikipedia:Notability, Wikipedia:Notability (people) and Wikipedia: Notability (music).--Peterdownunder (talk) 22:10, 26 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for informing me of this. I will amend my RfD. --Beefball Talk 08:56, 27 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

FYI, it was tagged QD A4 yesterday and declined. I saw your QD A4 today and left it as-is. While I agree it does not appear to meet notability requirements; it contains sentences that are the same as in 'Wikia'. Wikia has the same commons license as Wikipedia family uses and allows copying if attribution is given. No attribution means no license compliance, hence a copyright vio. That's why I added QD G12 under your tag. I wanted the possible copyright problem considered along with your concern over notability. Thanks Rus793 (talk) 19:50, 4 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Duly noted, thanks for the heads up. Beefball Talk 19:53, 4 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Soundmagic

Hi, I was also planning to write an article about Soundmagic. It is an old, and reputable company in China. As I understand they are known in China pretty well. Could you please check if there are any reliable links to them in the national Chinese press?Tdfdc (talk) 19:33, 6 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
