Thank you very much for your nice compliment. You and your sister are both very polite people. I hope all of your editing goes well. Thank you[change source]

Thank you very much for your compliments. I think you have been a lot more nice and polite than I have. You always have something good to say to people. And don't worry, you haven't been bothering me with your messages. So here is a little something for you.

Merry Christmas[change source]

I just wanted to wish you and your family Merry Christmas! I hope you all have a safe and happy holiday season. Megan McCarty|talkchanges 14:48, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Into the top 500[change source]

Hi Pretty Lydie, congratulations on making into the Top 500 Simple Wikipedians by the number of edits. Not that the total is important, because it should be all about quality. Have at look at this page Wikipedia:List of Wikipedians by number of changes, and you are at 495. Keep up the good work. Peterdownunder (talk) 11:25, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Pretty Lydie, the next task for you is to increase the number of edits you do on articles. Have a look at this page, Pretty Lydie's edits and you will see that only 18% of your edits have been in the main article space. There is your challenge for 2010, good luck, --Peterdownunder (talk) 23:52, 28 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Lydia, my love! Good job at the science articles. You are getting very good at it these days. Try going to Wikipedia:Sandbox, and you can experiment and try it out there first. Ask me if you have any questions. Adieu, sweetest Lydia! And I will ever be
Your affectionate sister

Re: Adoption[change source]

Hi Pretty Lydie, noticed your message about adoption and noticed that User:Pmlineditor has accepted your request. Glad you found someone to help, and I'm sure Pmlineditor will be a great help to you. He knows what he's doing. Kennedy (talk • changes). 19:07, 19 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Thanks[change source]

I'm sorry about your sister. I'm glad I could help you with the confusion. And sorry it took me so long to reply (I have been on a wikibreak). Cheers! Megan McCarty|talkchanges 15:47, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

section titles[change source]

You do some very good work on you articles, but I would like to remind you that here, the See Also section is known as the Other pages section, and that the External Links section is known as the Other website section. Keep up the good work, Griffinofwales (talk) 19:24, 23 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

My wikibreak[change source]

I'm sorry that you missed me! And please don't worry about annoying me. I'm always happy to get a message from you! Also, you could always email me (if you have email). I check my email everyday, even if I don't edit on seWP. My email address is on my user page. Cheers! Megan McCarty|talkchanges 22:21, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Pretty Lydie,

I saw you put a "Ready for Deletion" tag on the article Sims 3. As you could see, it took awhile for it to get redirected. Thus if you have an article that you want to delete quickly, (like a few minutes) you can use the "Quick Deletion" series. Go to this page to learn more. If you have any questions, please leave a message on my talk page. Of course, you don't have to use it if you don't want to. :-) I-on talk sign! 19:52, 27 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, alright[change source]

Oh, alright, I'll try not to do too much computer. Thanks. Bye the way, I don't wanna make my name Mella Mouse. It sounds annoying. How do I change it? Hopefully and you're little puggy, Mella Mouse (talk) 12:14, 3 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, ask an admin, and you can change it... But I love that name, I've grown fond of it now. Please keep it! :) Miss Tilney (talk) 06:35, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not every admin can do it. If you go to WP:CHU or any bureaucrat they will do it for you. Nifky^ 08:23, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you![change source]

Thank you very much for the barnstar! It's greatly appreciated. :) Spitfire (talk) 08:13, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there![change source]

The Barnstar of Diligence
For Belinda Tilney (Pretty Lydie), who has worked tirelessly and diligently on all aspects of this wikipedia as a wonderful newcomer. I hope you have a great time here! Classical Esther 08:41, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Agree with Esther; great job Pretty Lydie. Pmlineditor  08:42, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thankyou! Thankyou! Thankyou! I cannot express my happiness and true extreme joy as I watch proudly over this wonderful thing, even though I am not worth of it. Thankyou once again, and I will work even harder to make myself worthy enough for it. I love the barnstar!!! I most prize and treasure it, and I must go directly to Esther and tell her my thanks on her talkpage!! :) Most happily, Miss Tilney (talk) 08:56, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Belinda, my spirits revive in seeing the happy state of yours, and it was my greatest pleasure to give this barnstar to you, which, certainly, nobody who knew you could deny that you merited. I hope you have a great day! Yours affectionately, Classical Esther 09:14, 8 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Archives[change source]

You might care to archive comments instead of removing them. You can read Help:Archiving. Also, remember that no one is perfect; you, I and every other editor have faced criticism in the past; however removing them makes it seem that you don't want to learn for them. Just a suggestion... Pmlineditor  10:40, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, no, I do want to learn for them. Okay, I will, thankyou! Miss Tilney (talk) 08:00, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
...by the way, it is a better idea to use default welcome templates such as {{welcome}} or {{welcomeg}} rather than custom templates. Also, don't specifically mention me; rather just link to AN or this page. Ty, Pmlineditor  08:42, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I prefer the orange box I "copied" from Esther better... But thankyou anyway! Cheers and happy editing, Miss Tilney (talk) 08:48, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
There's a template for that too; I'll find out which. Pmlineditor  08:51, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

500 edits[change source]

Hi there, Lydie. You just crossed the 500 edit mark on Simple Wikipedia; congrats. 45% of your edits is in the mainspace which is good. Your next goal should be to write a GA and also to improve your edit summary which is not too good now. I suggest you go to My Settings-->Editing and check "Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary". Whenever you make an edit without a summary, this will prompt you to enter one. This is a took which I think you will find useful. Regards, Pmlineditor  09:15, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou, again (how tired you must be of so much thankyous!)!--for congratulating me, I mean, and yes, I have just  Done the checking "Prompt...summary". I hope I can do even better afterwards! :) Miss Tilney (talk) 09:19, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the barnstar as well as being a good editor and a good friend to me! Yours truly, Ian ♠♣♦♥ McCarty 13:52, 10 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations![change source]

The Minor Barnstar
Good job on all those science-related articles, and for your hard work stubsorting! You are getting very efficient here, I am proud of you! Keep up the good work, dear Bella! Here are two tips: don't edit when you're supposed to study ㅜ.ㅜ, and don't speak French, please. Heaven bless you, my love! Your ever-affectionate big sister, Classical Esther 08:01, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I am sure that I love this barnstar, thankyou so much, Esther, but I don't think you should be so rash on giving me such barnstars--for I do not deserve it, that is most true, and also because I don't think the other people would approve of it being neutral... But I adore it and cherish it! (By the way, I didn't do it at study time, exactly--I just copied what I wrote down whilst preparing for Eunice's class in the powerpoint, don't worry.) And about the French--oh, all right, I just wanted to practice the new french words I learned... Okay. Thankyou! Miss Tilney (talk) 08:32, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
That's nice, Belinda. Don't worry, I'm not being rash or un-neutral, I've been watching your edits carefully for some time and I've been proud of you...tho' I am a bit worried for thine "eye, where mirth and fancy used to shine", and for the "hasty-footed time" that you give so unsparingly to Wikipedia...well, well, but I won't bore with you with useless quotes and big-sister lectures, so good bye, and keep up the good work...without getting addicted. Classical Esther 08:42, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Lydie! PeterSymonds just asked on IRC to grant you IP block exemption right as you were caught by an autoblock. I've assigned you this permission. Peter Said he got a mail from you with the request. Hope this is ok :) Kind reagrad -Barras talk 19:51, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hiya, sorry for the next message. I just talk to the other admins on IRC and removed the right from your account as you sister Mouse was unblocked last night and the autoblock removed. It looks like you will not need it now. In the case that someone feels that Mouse needs to be blocked again, so just send a mail to our admin mailing list: simple-admins-l@lists.wikimedia.org. Every admin is able to give you this right. Kind reagrds, -Barras talk 20:28, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay! But anyway, Eunice (Mella Mouse) is retired, so you won't need to worry about much. Thankyou for your help and concern, Barras! Miss Tilney (talk) 02:57, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Name change[change source]

Hi PL, as a bureaucrat I can change your name. What name would you like to have? fr33kman 04:38, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I think I would like Belinda, because it is one of my favorite book, and my nickname is Belinda, please, thankyou so much, Fr33kman! Kitty Morland (talk) 04:44, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I can change your name to Belinda on this wiki; however there are users elsewhere with the same username. This means that you won't be able to travel from wiki to wiki and still use Belinda. If you only really edit here at simpleWP (and I do know you have an account on enWP) then I have no issues changing it. Think about it and let me, or another crat know. btw: Pmlineditor is not a bureaucrat so can't change your name. All the best, and I hope your sister gets over her cold soon! fr33kman 04:52, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Please note; the username Belinda does not exist on enWP, so you could have it here and over there if you wish. You'll need to speak to an enWP bureaucrat to help you over there. fr33kman 04:55, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, yes, she's all tucked up in bed right now (my sister, I mean). And, I semi-retired on enwikipedia, I won't be editing on there much anymore. But thankyou anyway, and please change my name, Fr33kman! Thanks! Kitty Morland (talk) 04:56, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Done You are now User:Belinda. This has caused Pretty Lydie to be taken out of the SUL system. BTW: I'm a medical doctor, so do tell Classical Esther to drink lots of clear liquids and lots of chicken soup! :) fr33kman 05:02, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, Fr33kman, for your kind concern and remark! I am both honored and gratified to hear the opinion of such a good editor...and doctor! ;) I'll take your advice. Classical Esther 05:16, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You are welcome! Unfortunately medical science has not made an impact on the common cold. The best we can do is to help the symptoms! :) fr33kman 05:20, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Belinda! I've just closed your proposed GA Medical Renaissance as unsuccessful because there are still outstanding and not yet fixed issues. Once you've addressed these issues, you should re-list the article on the PGA page. Please keep up the good work and try again later! Best -Barras talk 19:37, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thankyou, I will try to make it better :) But you're right, I don't think it's ready yet either. Belle (talk) 02:59, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Adding Category:Breads to articles[change source]

Hello, I removed some of the articles from Category:Breads and will be removing the cake articles from that category soon. Although a cake, donut, pretzel, pancake and pies are baked in the oven like bread is and considered as pastries, they're not breads. I just wanted to tell you this because I don't want you to make any further mistakes in the future, and hope you have a great time editing here later on. Cheers, Nifky^ 11:02, 13 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Happy Valentine's Day[change source]

Thank you very much for your valentine and your compliment! You are always so sweet to me and I hope you have a Happy Valentine's Day! And I will reply to your email. (Sorry for not giving you anything fancy. I'm not very good at finding those kinds of things and I didn't want to copy you or your sister's.) :) Megan|talkchanges 21:17, 14 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Happy Valentines[change source]

Happy Valentine's Day!
Although its a day late (or 2 days late for you), I hope you will still except this wonderful Valentines I award you. Thanks for all your hard work here on wikipedia! Happy editing, Ian ♠♣♦♥ McCarty 14:42, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, thanks! :P I bet you copied that from Esther!! But I love it anyway! Thankyou so much, Ian, and tell your sister that I thank her too! Belle (talk) 04:54, 16 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect rollback[change source]

This was an incorrect use of rollback. The edit you rollbacked was made in good faith. I admit it was a violation of NPOV, but it was not blatent vandalism. Please be more careful in the future. :) fr33kman 08:22, 17 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ref names in articles[change source]

Keep in mind that you're not the only one looking at the editing wikitext within the article, and that anyone is open to see it. Another factor why you don't give ref names irrelevent names in articles is because other users who want to edit the article using the same ref will be unable to see what it is easily if it is not correlated to the content. Some examples of yours are here, here, here and here, which I had to fix because it was not related. Please do not do this in ref tags again. Thank you. Nifky^ 09:33, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thx. Sorry. Bye. :| Belle (talk) 11:19, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If people point out your errors, it is not polite to call them unfriendly. Pmlineditor  11:20, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ooops, sorry. I didn't think he'd read my edit summary so I was acting silly...:P Belle (talk) 11:25, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Nifky is a she. ;) Pmlineditor  11:25, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ooooh! Never knew!! >:O Woah! This is a too big shock! Thx for telling me. Belle (talk) 11:27, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Maturity[change source]

This discussion also relates to a larger concern about maturity. Your edit summaries here, your reference names, and some of your comments like this are not very mature. The last comment, from the proposed very good articles, is especially unnecessary. It's essentially a personal attack or baiting someone into an argument. Please be more careful in your interactions. Either way (talk) 11:55, 19 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, sorry. I was just trying to be funny.... And I also think Purplebackpack89 shouldn't be so snappy to Juliancolton. But thankyou anyway for your helpful concern, I certainly am repentant and I'll try to be more encyclopedia-ish and cold to people. :) I guess joking doesn't work quite well around in wikipedia. People are so sensitive and offended easily these days.... Well, Best Regards, Belle (talk) 03:30, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Dear Belinda, please be a bit more careful! ;) But Either Way, Purplebackpack wasn't being very nice to Juliancolton in places like here, tho' of course, it was not Bella's right to jump in...^^ Classical Esther 03:36, 20 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WikiCreatures[change source]

Hi, Belinda. Good work on WikiKnight and WikiDragon! You might like to add {{Template:Humor}} on the top of the pages, just in caes people might get confused...oh, and btw, maybe you should read the English version of WikiDragon more carefully. It's a little different from yours...WikiDragons are actually users that make drastic edits and they aren't necessarily always cruel or mean. Classical Esther ~ 05:17, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Belinda. Just a note to let you know that redirects from the Wikipedia namespace to user space qualify for speedy deletion under criteria R2. That is why PeterSymonds moved them to your userspace and you saw "[redirect suppressed]" in the logs. Cheers, Lauryn 07:47, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thanks. :) I see it is already deleted. Belle (talk) 08:38, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
In case you're interested, I've proposed this be changed, see Simple talk.--   CR90  08:40, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You're really one of the best, CR90! How quick and helpful you are, a lovely WikiFairy! But, unfortunately, I don't think it'll succeed :). Just a thought, as I always say. Belle (talk) 08:46, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
My patience for simple talk is exhausted rather quickly. Let me know if anything changes and if so, I'll either move the page back or undelete the redirect. I don't see it changing, but the community is fickle. Cheers, Lauryn 15:48, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, thankyou. Belle (talk) 03:12, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
