Welcome back![change source]

It was a nice surprise to see you come back from your WikiBreak early (but not too surprising, because we all know how addictive Wikipedia can be for all of us), and I'm glad to see you back! Your contributions are very helpful to this site. Kansan (talk) 02:12, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. :) You gave me a wonderful compliment just at the time I really needed one! I'm afraid I'm just a bother to wikipedia, but anyway it's very addictive. Besides, I wanted to quickly get back and support for you. I'm sure your RFA will be very successful. Sincerely, Belle talk 02:17, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Ditto, welcome back. I totally agree with Kansan, I retired for a day or less, and then, after taking a look at RC and no one reverting vandalism, I decided to comeback :-P Cheers. --Diego Grez let's talk 02:20, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you! Belle talk 02:47, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've copied and simplified the article from enWP (ish), would you care to reconsider your vote on the AfD? Cheers, {{Sonia|talk|en}} 09:30, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The RfD has been closed as speedily kept. In this connection, I might note that before claiming "X isn't notable", try to do some research in Google/enWP. Of course an article might not establish notability, but when it is obvious that with some effort, the article could be improved, the latter is a better option that deleting it. :) Cheers, Pmlineditor  15:29, 30 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No block needed :)[change source]

User:Belinda/myspace is fine; no block will occur! :) fr33kman 03:03, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for relieving me. :) Happy editing, Belle tête-à-tête 03:05, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You too dear girl! :) Say Hi to Mella for me! :) fr33kman 03:08, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Mella Mouse was shoulder-watching your comment :P. Even though she's regarded as a vandal everywhere, well, she still says thank you. But nevermind her, and thanks for calling me a dear girl! Now I must break off my nonsense because of this... Belle tête-à-tête 03:13, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Myspace waits for no one! I'm probably one of the few who misses MM, squeak! lol. But, then I'm also one who'd like to see young kids editing WP. fr33kman 03:23, 6 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

creme brulee[change source]

Hi, just saw this... I'm not sure what the standard is here, but on enWP we like to have footnotes formatted as references with everything else. It wasn't an unreliable ref, but an explanation that didn't belong in the text. Do you know if they're allowed here? If not, I've got a bit of fixing to do :) Yours, {{Sonia|talk|en}} 08:34, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, I'm, not sure, but it sounded unreliable. :) If you want, you can revert my edits anytime. Belle tête-à-tête 09:07, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I have undone it but if at any point anyone wants to undo my undoing, that's fine too. (I'm actually supposed to be studying for exams... :P){{Sonia|talk|en}} 09:54, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Because I feel like it...[change source]

Kansan has given you some cookies! Now enjoy them!

Kansan (talk) 03:58, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Wow thanks! Omnomnom, it tastes even better because it was given by a great and skillful admin. :) By the way, speaking about cookies, would you like to join my wikiproject? But maybe you're too busy because you're an admin now. ;) Well anyway, thanks for the snack, it gives me delight and calories both at the same time! Happy editing, Belle tête-à-tête 05:21, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I have a confession here. I don't really know how to cook :( Kansan (talk) 05:26, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Aw, to say the truth, I am a failure at it as well. I can only make a few sandwiches, and I only know how to bake, but I didn't experience or try it a lot. So, well, it's okay if nobody knows how to cook, you're still more than welcome to join. :) God bless, Belle tête-à-tête 05:29, 10 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject Chess Noticeboard[change source]

We are taking a straw poll and would like you to vote. The Noticeboard. Thanks, I-on/talk/book/sand 11:03, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the notice. I will. Happy changing, Belle tête-à-tête 00:13, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, nobody would care about smiles I give in the least, but you are so good as to even leave a message! Thank you for the thank you ;), and I hope you continue the good work. Happy changing, Belle tête-à-tête 11:55, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Secret Message[change source]

This is a secret message... :D

What is the point of this? πr2 (talk • changes)
I'm not sure, but I don't see why it should be secret. :P therefore I won't make it secret. Anyway perhaps Cremepuff222 (talk · contribs) was testing something out here, but I that's okay to me. He can try it out on my sandbox next time he wants to do it again. ;) Warmly, Belle tête-à-tête 01:58, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the welcoming[change source]

Thanks for welcoming me to the Simple English Wikipedia. I also go on the regular English Wikipedia. I wasn't welcomed there (I've been there for quite a few months, though, so I think it's a bit too late to be welcomed on the regular English Wikipedia). Thanks for welcoming me! --Hadger (talk) 21:43, 5 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It was my pleasure :). I welcome many people, but this is the first time I've been thanked for it. I hope you enjoy your time around here. Warmly, Belle tête-à-tête 09:06, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Just a note- your warning message to 116.91.236.125 (talk · contribs) left me was a very friendly message, quite affectionate. While that in itself isn't bad, it isn't appropriate if you're warning the IP. (That said, it wasn't a wholly inappropriate picture, so maybe do one or the other- warn, or welcome. I don't know which myself. :P) Saying that you'd prefer them not putting porn on the articles here is kind of a non-statement, because it's not really about preferences. Anyway, thanks for being so diligent, but just be a little more careful, ok? :) Yours, {{Sonia|talk|en}} 02:32, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If anything, I'd say that the picture is hardly necessary. Kansan (talk) 02:33, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Me either, but I didn't know how consensus was on these things, so I left a caveat. (Hence, message struck.) To rephrase what I meant to say: looks like Bella was AGFing, but it's just that it was worded in a way that sent mixed messages, and I just wanted to say to be a little more careful about what we're conveying. {{Sonia|talk|en}} 02:39, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Oh dear! I'm sorry. As soon as I saw the diff, I got so angry I accidently clicked the [ROLLBACK VANDAL] button and instantly I regretted acting so quickly, so I was trying to apologize to the IP. :P I guess I got rather mixed up. Thank you for the warning, Sonia and Kansan. You two are both much too kind and forgiving. I will try to be more careful next time. :) Humbly, Belle tête-à-tête 02:57, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello.That[1] is not pornography. It is the one that can pair with a men's photograph, and be used even in the other language version. I do not think that you should be too sensitive to a sexual description.--116.91.236.125 (talk) 03:22, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I see. However, I think it isn't all that useful presently. Try to find a picture that is more informative and necessary. However I thank you very much for your contributions and I hope you stick to wikipedia. :) Warmly, Belle tête-à-tête 04:23, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Vuvuzela[change source]

Belinda, great to see you expanded the stub for Vuvuzela, but unfortunately, you cannot count it for your Stub Cup totals. All the articles that are expanded have to have been created by the start of the competition on May 1. This stub was created earlier today. For more information, see User_talk:Belinda/Archive_4#Stub_Cup_notice. Sorry! Keep up the good work though! :) Either way (talk) 00:48, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh my! I'm terribly sorry for having such a dull brain. :) It's all worth expanding a stub if I receive a smile from dear Either way, so there is no need to be sorry at all. How kind you are to inform me! Thank you for doing so. Warmly, Belle tête-à-tête 01:09, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

An apology[change source]

I am so very sorry for anything I might have done that would make you dislike me. I wish I could send this to all editors, but that would be spamming.

Sincerely, πr2 03:33, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Aww, what is there to be so sorry about? :) I assure you I like you very much - as I love everybody, and from when I was born I cannot remember anybody I disliked - and I hope you will not think so. I'm sure all the other editors do not dislike you so much either, and they would love you all the better if you could edit more unbot-ishly. :P I'm sorry if I did something to make you think that I disliked you. I'm very pleased that you are sorry, and sincere. I hope you will come back soon from your "long break"! Warmly, Belle tête-à-tête 04:41, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, you need to put that code in your monobook.css :) πr2 01:35, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Question[change source]

You said that I was welcome to ask you any question I have, so here it goes. I always see administrators bagging on other users about "flooding the recent changes". What's wrong with that? The recent changes on Enwiki changes every second. Codedon (talk) 20:45, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Because if an established user is flooding recent changes with small edits, such as stub-sorting or something similar, it makes it difficult on the people who monitor new changes for vandalism to find it. While you are correct that the English Wikipedia's new changes is much quicker than ours, they also have many more users who watch for vandalism as well as different tools and bots to detect it much more accurately and quickly than our limited userbase. If you feel that you are going to be making many uncontroversial edits in a row that could possibly flood the recent changes, there is usually an administrator around who can grant you the flood flag to hide your edits from RC. Hope this clears it up, Lauryn Ashby (talk) 23:49, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Lauryn for explaining so nicely. You see, Codedon, we all fight vandalism using this tool and looking through the new changes page. There, we can revert bad edits and warn the ips. However, you can't do that easily if there are a thousand edits on one page. Simple is slightly different from enwiki. :) Only admins can give you the Flood Flag that Lauryn said about, and you can see WP:FLOOD for more information about this. Warmly, Belle tête-à-tête 23:59, 16 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you two for explaining that to me. It makes much more sense to me now. Codedon (talk) 00:02, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Belinda,

Following a discussion with my fellow Administrators, I just want to remind you that the Email User function is to be used only for 'on wiki' matters unless a user has said it can be used for something otherwise - which I have not specified. I am referring to the email that I received from you early today along the lines of "Poodle". This is not an appropriate use of the system and can be seen as misuse. Indeed, I understand that you have also been told about this before, and as a result this is to be considered as a final warning for misuse of the system - any further problems and it will be disabled from your account.

You are reminded to remain mature & show a good level of maturity on the wiki at all times - other users have been blocked for not behaving maturely.

If you have any problems or questions, please don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page, or if you wish to 'appeal' this warning you would be best bringing it up at the Administrators' noticeboard or emailing the mailing list (Address eludes me at this point in time).

Regards,

Djefatnebti - we don't know much about her. So, that article is not a stub,--Mychele Trempetich (talk) 12:23, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Frankly, that doesn't really matter to the article. Who she was is not important as long as she was notable. Please see WP:STUB for more information. Belle tête-à-tête 12:24, 22 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
