Category:Japanese eras

This category is not suitable for speedy delete.

This new category of Category:Japanese eras (Japanese era names) will grow to 200+ articles.

If I should have done something different in creating this new category, please explain.

Also, please note that category is a list sub-set of Japanese era name which is also a sub-set of Category:Calendars. --Tenmei (talk) 16:15, 24 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Has this been solved? If not, let me know. Goblin 14:02, 25 March 2010 (UTC) I ♥ Fr33kman![reply]

do you know much about the website and how it works? I don't know who to turn to. Flayof (talk) 13:53, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ED? Nope, not a thing. Wikipedia yes, ED no. Try http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/Encyclopedia_Dramatica:Thizzlehat_Junction_Center - you might find some contact details there. Goblin 14:01, 25 March 2010 (UTC) I ♥ Chenzw![reply]
Do you know anyone who knows? The Ed doesn't make any sense. Flayof (talk) 14:05, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Switzerland DYK

I've reverted your move of Switzerland to the queue for DYK. I don't think it's ready to go yet. There's still some discussion going on about wording. On top of that, I think the one you put in the queue is not the desired wording anymore. Have a look at the discussion if you don't mind. Thanks, Either way (talk) 02:11, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up. Just noticed that I did move across the wrong one - my bad, seems I was on auto-pilot and just took the hook at the top rather than the altered one! Guess you're right about wording too, though think sides is better than part personally. Goblin 02:15, 30 March 2010 (UTC) I ♥ Chenzw![reply]

Background and Request

Hi Goblin, Thank you for your comments and encouragement. This was my first attempt to make a few slight changes in a Wikipedia article. I am IT coordinator and an IT teacher at Stockholm International School, Sweden. In some of our IT classes we are asking students to write articles for Simple English Wikipedia. These articles will be added by me or a colleague after we have checked them.~Any suggestions/tips that you have would be appreciated.

I wonder if it would be possible for me to receive notification of any changes made originating from the SIS IP address as I would like to be sure that our students are not tempted to do something silly or inappropriate. Newcastle2 (talk) 13:04, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Newcastle, thanks for your note.
It's great that you are getting your students to write articles for us; that's brilliant! Are there any particular articles or topics that you are focussing on? All that I suggest is that you follow our guidelines that were listed in your welcome note, and also - as this is a school project - read through Wikipedia:Schools, Wikipedia:Schools/Teachers' Guide and Wikipedia:Schools/Projects, as these should let you know how we normally deal with school projects.
If you let me know what the IP address(es) are for SIS then I can take a look at the contributions and deleted contributions for them and let you know if anything inappropriate has been posted. You may prefer to email me those, but it is up to you.
Regards,

Hi there. Thanks for handling this. I'm also glad to see you back editing again after your break. :) Cheers, Lauryn (utc) 18:13, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No problems at all Lauryn, glad to have helped and glad to be back! Goblin 18:17, 30 March 2010 (UTC) I ♥ Yottie![reply]

Hi, Bluegoblin

Hello, Bluegoblin7. I'm so glad you returned, we certainly need such hardworking people as you around here! Thank you for dropping me a note about the Violin VGA Demotion changes on my talk page. I'm sorry I couldn't reply sooner, I was on a wikibreak. Normally that wouldn't stop me from replying anyway :), but I had put a wikibreak enforcer in my monobook. I've changed my vote. Heaven's blessings, Classical Esther 12:59, 31 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
