Quakewoody, who is Mh6ti? Vermont (talk) 12:28, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Mh6ti is the name I remember his as, but his globally blocked sockpuppet vandalism goes back long before that. Quakewoody (talk) 12:44, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This wiki does not have enwiki's equivalent of CSD G5. You will need more than "created by banned user" as a reason for deletion. Chenzw  Talk  01:24, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
He is a self-professed hacker. Nothing he edits is reliable. With a history of, what appear to be legitimate, page creations on one site to use as a source on another. Even many of his photo uploads, they are often photoshopped or CGI type of creations. here is his IMDB and every wiki. Quakewoody (talk) 12:53, 26 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Oh well, NGC is famous for having items which cannot be found or are misdescribed. By allowing an unsourced claim to stand we are saying something like: "if it's a number, it must mean something". I'm saying we should not have it because there is no evidence it exists, and there is no source for it. Is there a better reason? Macdonald-ross (talk) 14:12, 27 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This galaxy appears to have been imaged by the Hubble Space Telescope already, and there are published papers mentioning this: [20] [21] [22]. In my view, lack of sources does not automatically mean something is a spoof, and even if the article is a hoax, I personally don't think it meets the standard required by QD A6 ("obvious" hoax).
