oops CR90 beat me to it but here is my answer if you want it :) (basically the same thing):

for your IP:

  • If you are logged in as a main user (like you are now) normal users or administrators have no access to your IP address at all. Certain people are able to get your IP address if they want but only for certain reasons. Any checkuser is able to use a tool to get your ip address. This is only used if there is reason to believe that there has been abuse (for example someone creating multiple accounts to try and vandalize or if someone was trying to vote lots of times in a discussion by pretending they are different people).
