Hey there Fuhgettaboutit!

I noticed that an article you worked on, Carom billiards, is now out of time on its GA nomination. Would you like me to extend the limit, withdraw the nomination, or is the article (in your opinion) finished?

I ask because there has been no comments for a while.

Thanks for your interests in the GA system!

Redlinks[change source]

Hi! We tend to leave redlinks in an article here at simpleWP. We find they encourage new articles to be created. Cheers! :) fr33kman talk 01:10, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Fr33kman. Both here and at en.wikipedia, there's a bit of schizophrenia going on between how we expect red links to be used in "regular" articles, and what we expect from articles built to a higher standard. It does make some sense. We want red links to invite creation of articles on suitable topics. At the same time, we want a certain aesthetic to be in place for our finest content (here, very good articles, and at en, featured articles). I am attempting to make this suitable for submission to proposed good articles, and possibly to very good articles. As you'll note from Wikipedia:Requirements for good articles: "All important terms should be linked and there must not be many red links left." As you'll note from Wikipedia:Requirements for very good articles: "All important terms should be linked and there must be no red links left." So, I know where you're coming from and agree with you in the main, but I'm on a certain track with this article that isn't friendly to the notion.--Fuhghettaboutit (talk) 01:28, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
