Thanks a lot. I'd be grateful if you could help keep an eye on the articles I just changed, because Wikinger is likely to keep messing them up again. He's a cross-project nuisance. I'm glad at least here on simple-wiki his misinformation is relatively easy to spot, but he has also gone to other wikis where he doesn't even know the language, and written those same articles there by simply copy-pasting text from one page to another, resulting in total BS. For instance, this [1] was harder to fix. And I don't even want to know what horrors hide underneath zh:Template:Infobox_Greek, which, hard as it is to believe, was also done by him. Hey, thanks for the offer. Lemme see:

zh:Ϻ appears to be correct in the main text, but the infobox appears to be falsely claiming it has a numeral value and a phonetic value and transcription in Modern Greek (all of which it doesn't have). I've tried to fix that now (luckily, the infobox parameters were in English.)
zh:Ϸ, zh:Ϙ, zh:Ϛ: ditto
zh:Ͱ: seems to be claiming that "en:Heta" is "the eighth letter of the alphabet". It isn't; it's basically just an alternative name for a divergent function of the letter Eta (see en:Heta (letter)). It also seems to again be saying odd things about alleged (totally made-up) modern Greek functions in the infobox.
zh:ȷ: seems to be claiming that "Jot" is the seventh letter of the alphabet. It isn't. It's not a letter of the alphabet at all (see: [2]). It is also at the wrong article location. Its article name is currently the character U+0237 "LATIN SMALL LETTER DOTLESS J", which has nothing to do at all with Greek. If anywhere at all, it ought to be at U+03F3 "Greek letter Yot" (i.e. zh:ϳ; not surprisingly, it originally was there and the history of the redirect shows the usual Wikinger tinkering), and its content ought to be something like: "ϳ is a duplicate code of the Latin letter 'J' that was introduced to Unicode to encode the use of this letter as a phonetic symbol for pre-literate Greek". Nothing more than that; everything in the infobox is wrong.

This is tiresome, especially when you find the same trivial pieces of misinformation spread across dozens of wikis, all by the same obsessed user, and he keeps reinserting them obsessively even when they are corrected. Fut.Perf. ☼ 10:47, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
