18 January Blackout / Illegal Censorship of English Wikipedia[change source]

As I stupidly are not allowed onto my talk page today, I'm gonna have to post it here until tomorrow.

This whole blackout thing is stupid. Whoever came up with it, is stupid. In fact, the whole wiki, is stupid. On my birthday too! (Although I acknowledge that will be just a coincidence). But it's still annoying! Why not pick, say, a special day, like, 29 February, or, 1 January, to do it?

Mark my words, this WILL be copied to my Wikipedia talk page on 19 January whether you like it or not.

This action is actually illegal in the UK; the internet censorship you are carrying out today, to apparently protest AGAINST censorship? How's that logical?

I have no option but to quit the English Wikipedia. I will not be involved with a site involved in illegal activities.

(Also, good news for Simple English Wikipedians, if you're watching this - I'm joining you instead!)

Whenever leaving messages on talk pages, please remember to sign your name by typing four 'tildes' (like this: ~~~~); doing this makes your name and the date show up. Also, it helps if you write something in the box that says 'change summary' whenever you change an article. Below are some useful links to make your time here simpler. Happy changing!
