Talk page[change source]

Hiya! May I know why you flagged this talk page for QD? When a user creates a test edit to talk page, it's customary to replace any random (irrelevant to the page) with a talk page placeholder, but it doesn't necessarily require for it to be completely deleted. β€” Infogapp1 (talk) 01:02, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ah, I see. thank you. β€”Β Gomdoli (talk) 01:25, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
By doing this clean up that's not necessarily controversial in nature, we lower the number of backlogs for the admins. If you notice, however, that someone added an advertising/promotional content either in their user page or in an existing article, you may either flag it for deletion or revert the edit (depending in the nature of the edit). The differences may be confusing at times, but you'll get a hang of it sooner or later. Feel free to ping me, @Thegooduser:, or any of the admins in case you have any questions. We're happy to help! Happy editing =) β€” Infogapp1 (talk) 01:31, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

userpage[change source]

Hi! I made a very minor change to your userpage, I added a space in the page, if you don't like it, you can revert it --Thegooduser Let's Talk! :) 🍁 01:49, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I checked, and I more fixed. Thank you! :D β€”Β Gomdoli (talk) 01:51, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

August 2020[change source]

Hello, Gomdoli4696. When you revert a user's changes, like you did earlier, don't forget to leave the user a message on their talk page, especially when reverting vandalism or a test edit. You may find Template:User talk page warnings/table useful when doing this, to let them know that the change was considered inappropriate, and to direct them to the sandbox. Thank you. You can do this with the "TW" tab on their talk page. You should also warn them when you tag their article for QD.Β :) IWI (chat) 04:22, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@ImprovedWikiImprovment: Does TW have such a function? Then how do I turn it on? β€”Β Gomdoli (talk) 04:23, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) You usually have an option to tick the "notify the user" button when you QD/RfD. It's a little different when you Revert an edit. You may go to the user's profile and then click on TW > Warn. From there, you'll have several options from General (1), up to Final Warning (4) depending on the severity and/or nature of the issue. --Infogapp1 (talk) 14:40, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like you are talking about Twinkles.PArangSae (talk) 05:16, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I know how to now. β€”Β Gomdoli (talk) 05:19, 31 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Careful with your QD adding. You added a couple that were not valid, for example you added one on a page saying it was copied from en.wiki however, that is not forbidden here as long as the article is simplified and attribution is given, which had been done on the page in question. In this particular case what happened was someone else had copy and pasted over an existing article. I just reverted their addition. -Djsasso (talk) 14:27, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I was mistaken. sorry β€”Β Gomdoli (talk) 20:12, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Could you explain your recent block on the Korean Wikipedia? Thanks, Vermont (talk) 00:42, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know what you mean. Can you explain again what the purpose is? β€”Β Gomdoli (talk) 00:51, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You were blocked on the Korean Wikipedia. You have started editing here recently. I do not speak Korean; as such, I'm wondering if you could explain why you were blocked. Thanks, Vermont (talk) 00:56, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I understood. My tone was a inappropriate, so it was blocked for a while. I am trying to improve, And I don't hide this block log. You can see block request and block log. β€”Β Gomdoli (talk) 01:02, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the responseΒ :-) Vermont (talk) 01:05, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Whitespace[change source]

Just a quick note that there is supposed to be two blank lines between stubs and the categories so I thought I should let you know since I noticed you removing one on some articles. -Djsasso (talk) 11:16, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Disasso: I edited stub template like that because I added the stub template as one break in several articles and twinkle's function. It isn't? Thanks, β€”Β Gomdoli (talk) 11:21, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Djsasso β€”Β Gomdoli (talk) 11:21, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I am sorry I don't quite understand what you are saying. Stubs are supposed to go after the categories with two blank lines between them and the categories. I was referring to edits like this one where you removed a blank line. -Djsasso (talk) 11:24, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Djsasso: I am sorry, I am not good at English. I know enwiki it uses this method, but here is simplewiki. I must to use two blank? I think one blank is better for appearance. Thanks, β€”Β Gomdoli (talk) 11:31, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
One blank doesn’t actually leave any space in the article. You must leave two spaces so there is a visible space on the page. --IWI (talk) 11:45, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I see. thank you for more description. β€”Β Gomdoli (talk) 11:46, 23 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

There are more than 20 pages in Category:Google. It's a big company, so it easily meets Wikipedia:Categories#Organizations. –MJL ‐Talkβ€β˜– 03:21, 4 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, I see you have self-reverted. Thank you!Β :) –MJL ‐Talkβ€β˜– 03:22, 4 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@MJL: It was pressed incorrectly. Sorry. So, I self-reverted. β€”Β Gomdoli (talk) 03:24, 4 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
