Wow, thanks! I'm new to the whole editing Wikipedia thing, just wondered if things like html, javascript, PHP etc work here? ~HaNNaH- ♥♥♥

The vast majority of the content is written in mediawiki language, but certain tools (like Twinkle) are written in javascript. Additionally, there is a toolserver that hosts several tools used on Wikipedia. For replies from other people, you can ask your questions at Simple talk. Mostly, the site is designed to be easy for content building and not require coding skills, but I'm sure there are plenty of projects you could help on, if you'd like. As EHJJ said, there are many projects you could help with. I recommend writing a Very Good Article, an article which is approved by the community as being one of the best. Wow thanks guys. Is there like a page or something with this "mediawiki" language in it? I've not come across it before so wondered how to use it. What sort of projects do you mean? I'd love to get involved more! Is there a page listing all the different things that you can do? I'm really excited about this wiki think and I really want to get involved more and help people like my sister. Any tips and help would be really nice to help me get started. ~HaNNaH- ♥♥♥

You shouldn't start worrying too much about Mediawiki pages right now :) AS for the projects there are many different ones. WP:GA, WP:VGA, WP:DYK, and many on user:Project. The edits look good to me! I don't know if you saw, but there's a little gold star in the top right hand corner; this means it's a Very Good article and it's very complete, so hard to improve a lot. However if you like music/bands... You could help me promote the band McFly to Good article or Very Good Article status. It is currently on this page.
