You have some, but you don't have to reply if you're too busy. :) Cheers, Belinda 02:15, 12 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I will reply Sunday. This weekend (Fri. night, all day Sat.) I will have a chess tournament going on. But Sunday will do fine. Thx! I-on|I-Гalk |I-PrФjecГ 02:20, 12 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your question on Simple Talk[change source]

Hey I-on, I answered your question at Wikipedia:Simple_talk#text. Sorry no one answered it sooner. Please let me know if that works for you, or let me know where you're working, and I can see if there's another way to do that. Best, EhJJTALK 13:04, 14 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry to bother you, dear Ian, but could you get on IRC? :) It would be fun with you. I like to talk to you. Just go to this website, [1], and click it. Then, write any name you like, and the channel is #wikipedia-simple. Please? :p I love to talk with people so good-natured and hilarious like you! Belinda 12:19, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It's a good place to go to if you need to quickly contact an administrator. Classical Esther 12:28, 17 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Chocolate Chip Cookie[change source]

Thank you very much for working on the article Chocolate chip cookie! It looks so sweet, and much better than before. Oh, yeah, and by the way, your user page looks great! Keep up the good work, please, and you'll soon be getting the baking barnstar! I appreciate your activeness on my wikiproject very, very much. Thanks! Belinda 03:03, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Anytime! Thank you also for the compliments. Yours truly, I-on|I-Гalk |I-PrФjecГ 11:32, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You are so kind. BTW, Ian, I have a question: I just got banned in IRC for a sudden no reason. I think a troll did it... I wonder why? Belinda 13:10, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It will be just fine. I got a notice in IRC saying:[Global Notice] Hi all. We just had a minor incident with an automated bot killing web gateway users as they connected. We've since disciplined it and things are back to normal. Sorry for the inconvenience and noise.

I think they'll get you back on. I-on|I-Гalk |I-PrФjecГ 13:13, 19 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, what a relief! :) I hope I can talk to you soon, then. Please send Megan my most affectionate love! Belinda 02:59, 20 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the barnstar!![change source]

:P I was trying to help, but I'm not sure if I did the right thing! It's so sweet that you give me those things when I only did a few edits. I saw that Esther had worked on it a really lot first, and I wanted to help too. So, in my study time (:p) I worked like crazy and managed to do a few tiny fixes. :) Thankyou so much for the half-barnstar! Anything you give is a great and exceedingly wonderful honor to me, half barnstar or not. May God bless you abundantly in wherever you go and whatever you do, and know that I appreciate the kind barnstar very, very much! Yours joyfully, Belinda 05:42, 21 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your opinion[change source]

I would like to have your opinion on the consensus, or, more simply, the discussion if wikipedia should be censored or not. Look at this For more, please. I would really appreciate it if you could join in the conversation, because everybody there are so smart. As a young user, one of the "target audiences", I'm sure your opinion will be valued. Thx! Belinda 03:48, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It seems as if the discussion has calmed done and came to a conclusion. I wouldn't want to fire it up again, so I will not post anything, unless it fires up again by itself. I hope this is okay with you. I-on|I-Гalk |I-PrФjecГ 14:31, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, okay. :) Sure, I'm only glad there had been no fire.... Tho' I know your mild, sweet language would not fire it up anyway. Belinda 00:51, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the idea, I've joined! Macdonald-ross (talk) 08:12, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

And thanks again for the barnstar. It's a fun area. When it's more developed, and basic concepts are covered, we can discuss whether we want to put in some basic teaching material. You've done some of that with Chess#Opening.
Oh, another thing. Can we get the board template adapted for Simple so we can set up our own diagrams? Macdonald-ross (talk) 18:01, 8 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Good idea about the board template. I've also been thinking about the idea of having a template at the bottom of the chess related articles listing the other chess articles. Kansan (talk) 02:12, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

RE Macdonald-ross: I believe Simple already has a chess diagram: Template:Chess diagram. They were used in the article Chess if you want a quick look at them. RE Kansan: Good idea! Maybe we can request to copy this over from en? mccon99 12:59, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry. Its Template:Chess diagram small mccon99 13:00, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Ian! I've just nommed you (a little early). :p Here it is: Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/I-on! I hope you have a Happy Easter and a successful RFA. Yours truly, Belinda 12:17, 5 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Ian. I checked your answers on your RFA. You answered with such calm, cool, civilness that even I was amazed at! I surely don't regret nomming you ;). Sadly, lots are opposing. I can't understand why they are turning such a obvious person down! But of course, you know such smart, warm people; when they want it, they have their own way ;P (no offense to anybody who might be reading this, it's just a joke). Well, anyway *wipes sweat*, I've been trying to convince people. Nobody really listens to me, except a few. I do hope you are able to! But even if you don't pass, it'll still be a good chance to fix all the tiny mistakes the community don't like and have another RFA later. Try checking your RFA, or going on IRC! It's no fun without you, as always. But of course, it's work time for you! I shouldn't be advertising other sites. Actually, you don't really need to do all the other things except checking on your RFA. Well, anyway... God bless you on it, and I am

Please don't jump on immediately created/imported articles.[change source]

It is generally considered bad form to do so. I was not done working on it and you caused me to edit conflict. -DJSasso (talk) 15:31, 9 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for undoing my edit. I didn't know for sure if the article about Napoleon. :) I'm still a "noob" (newbie) as Pmlineditor calls it, but I hope I can stop making such clumsy mistakes! Stub Cup[change source]

Hi I-on! I saw you've joined up for the Stub Cup, however you have chosen a flag which had already been chosen (my fault, for not making this clear...). Would you mind changing to another one? Thanks, Yottie =talk= 10:19, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Stub Cup[change source]

Stub Cup
Hi and thanks for taking part in the Stub Cup! Here are a few things you need to know before we start:
  • The Cup starts on May 1st 00:00 UTC and ends on June 30th 23:59 UTC.
  • The stubs you expand must have been created before May 1st 00:00 UTC.

The scoring system works as follows:

  • If you get a stub to a Regular Article, you will get 1 point.
    • For an article of 1500 to 2199 bytes of text you get 1 point.
    • From 2200 bytes of text and for every additional 700 bytes of text you get 1 extra point.
    • If the portion you add is unreferenced, you only get half the points it is worth.
  • If you get a stub promoted to Good Article status, you will get 25 extra points.
  • If you get a stub promoted to Very Good Article status, you will get 50 extra points.

Deleted pages[change source]

I saw you asking about the IP-created articles that PeterSymonds deleted earlier. The biggest problem with them was that they were written from an anti-India, pro-Pakistan perspective (there is land that both countries dispute over in Jammu and Kashmir), and as you can probably see, I've been spending time changing wording that uses terms like "Indian-occupied Kashmir" instead of "Jammu and Kashmir". I know you were wondering and thought I'd let you know. Kansan (talk) 21:52, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Kansan. I didn't even notice that (probably because I wasn't paying attention lol). Thanks again for a more detailed answer then what Peter gave me. I-on/talk/book/sand 21:56, 20 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

:) Thank you very much for reviewing me. You forgot to take out the '*' next to my name, though. I took it out. Oh yeah, and I made the User:Belinda/EditCounterOptIn.js, you can check it out. Though I still don't really get it that well, I still hope it will be some help. You reviewed me so kindly I can hardly believe that was me you reviewed and not some other editor! By the way.... As Kay said above, I really like your new sig. :P Yours truly, Belinda 00:38, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Recent revert to Library[change source]

As I've said to Belinda, your revert needed more care, the last revision of the page at this time by the IP undoing your rollback is correct. You need to actually read the content being removed rather than just skimming at the long yellow shaded text - which was clearly nonsense in your case. Please take more time to review content before reverting, reverting is not a race to get more edits. Rollback rights can be lost if negligent uses of rollback are used. stub sorting[change source]

I got up to Robert Cullen, and did about 350 of them. :P I'll do more when I get back on Sunday, so it's up to you if you want to carry on stub sorting or not. Cheers, {{Sonia|talk|en}} 08:48, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No need to do more. All pages in [[Category:Sportspeople by sport]] are sorted. PiRSquared17 15:58, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Copyright issue?[change source]

Out of curiousity I am curious what issue you are seeing. You are aware you can't copyright such a small chunk of text right? You need to show originality of thought to get a copyright. Which is why I just kept those 2 sentences. -DJSasso (talk) 15:20, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

It may not be called copyright (I really don't know). What I was talking about is placing {{Enwp based | url= (full link to the referenced version on the English Wikipedia) }} on the talk page, saying you got it from en. Sorry for the confusion (if it isn't a copyright issue. I thought NonvocalScream had called it that at one point). I-on/talk/book/sand 15:25, 7 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you again / Chess[change source]

In addition to starting the Project Chess, you are in clear second place for edits, so the mention was more than justified.
