User:Immanuelle/Kasuga-taisha[change source]

Hi there! It is actually very well put together. I did run a couple of scripts on it and they did not find any errors. I do have a question though.

On User:Immanuelle/Kasuga-taisha#Worshipped_gods and a few other places, you have links to your username and articles on en wiki. Can you remove those? We do not link to en wiki articles (especially when itsis publisedh)?

Also, will you be completing the other articles to eliminate the red links? If you can get rid of all of them and it gets published, it could be a nomination for WP:GA.

I do believe some wording can still be simplified, however. You also need to wikilink some items, like the mountain (since it is a specific mountain) and anything else. Once you go through it and fix it up, go ahead and ping me here, and I will take another look. Keep up the great work. No, as we encourage redlinks. The more of them that point to an article that shows up in Special:WantedPages the more likely it is to be created.

So red links are a great thing and you can get around to them when you want. If the red link is for a template or anything, please let me know or post on the administrators noticeboard and someone can bring it over. We have a lot of people who try to bring these over and add things that break them. I know some of yours include templates from what appears to be the Japanese or Chinese wiki and I cannot do those as they need to be in English to work here. I created the template for you. It is an encyclopedia. So people will be upset by what they read on any article, but that is what an encyclopedia is. It is a sum of all knowledge written for everyone. So you do not have to worry about that. I will have to look at the other one later when I have some time. List of Toki Pona words[change source]

I took a look and here are my recommendations:

Use much smaller icons for the pictures. They take up a lot of space.
Perhaps you can use the {{tl|Infobox language]] on it?
You have a box about what categories it will be in, can you move that to bottom please?
You have reference errors and they are all not set right. Those can be complicated when you have a lot of different ones. I can help you on those, if you would like. I am working on an article right now doing the same thing. When you use books and certain pages, you have to separate them and your headings are references (where the short version (sfn) with the page number(s) go; the sources header where the cite book(s) go and then notes where you put the other things.
Do you have maybe some more background you can add on the topic, as the intro is pretty short. Maybe where it started, where it is currently used?

@PotsdamLamb I had a longer intro earlier, but I tried to trim it down since it was a bit complicated. I tried to add a bit more, but this is a list of words, and I think a too long intro belongs at Toki Pona instead.

I noticed you are having some issues with the sizing of the images. Did you want some guidance on that?

Also, on the references portion I am working on, this is what I see:

Lang, Sonja (2014). Toki Pona: The Language of Good. Tawhid. ISBN 978-0978292300. OCLC 921253340. Harv warning: There is no link pointing to this citation. The anchor is named CITEREFLang2014.

If you notice the end in bold. That means no where in the article did you actually cite this source. Broken down it is looking for the cite book entry that has the name of Lang and the publication year of 2014. All of them are like this and I do not see any inline citations on the article, with the exception of two of them. So without the inline citations, they should be deleted. Since this is a list, they can be deleted without affecting the article. If it was a full on article, then they would need their corresponding in-lines. Are you ok with me deleting the ones not used? Ok I have completed the changes, including reducing the image icons from 45x45 to 25x25. References are ok now as well. Remember when we use SFN/HARV in-line, the books themselves go into their own section title Sources, due to the fact (for this particular article) that the short refs are not notes and fall under references so we want them separated. The problem is a lot of the wanted templates link back to you. We do not use a lot of what enwp uses. So if it is only on enwp, it would be appreciated if you would remove them. Some templates I will create. I judge it on how many blue links it shows when created (by doing a preview). So for example the one I just created had a decent enough amount of articles that link to it. If there is only one or two articles, I probably won't do it.
