Thanks for blocking Adorno rocks[change source]

He kept on moving pages. I reverted some of the changes.  PiRSquared17 (talk 18:25, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Of course! :)

Height and officeholders[change source]

Template:Infobox Politician/Personal data. Coding the convert template is really hard. It's below religion and above signature...if you think it should be elsewhere in the section, fine by me. Purplebackpack89 05:19, 29 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You up for becoming a crat? I think you'd make a great one and I'd be happy to nom you if you like. fr33kman 06:51, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Frankly, I'd like to see you become a crat and oversighter (thereby having all four senior hats) fr33kman 06:53, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm happy to do either/both for the community to be honest especially if they think the help would be good. My only concern is if it is fair to ask the community for more tools for an 'inactive' user. We all know how I do work across many projects, I don't see myself lowering my activity here (and I'm always available when someone pokes for help on IRC or I see something from there, in fact this is already the majority of times I do something on almost all wikis :) ) but also don't know if I'll be able to increase my activity in the near future. James (T C) 07:01, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Well, neither crat or oversighter gets a daily workout here, so I don't see how you'd be much different to any other crat or OS. Think and about it for a bit and let me know. fr33kman 07:13, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Will do :) James (T C) 07:15, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I think you'd do a great job. Kansan (talk) 07:29, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Aye. (Your userpage still says "I do have thoughts at some point in running for an admin position..." so that might need fixing :) {{Sonia|talk|en}} 07:39, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Simple News Issue 24[change source]

GoblinBot3 (talk) 16:01, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Howdy. I've nominated your for cratship at Wikipedia:Requests for bureaucratship/Jamesofur. Currently it is untranscluded. If you accept my nomination (And I hope you will) please add the end date and transclude the discussion. Good luck and you will do fine. Best, Jon@talk:~$ 04:56, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please see User talk:Fr33kman#24 hours. EhJJTALK 01:29, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bureaucratship[change source]

Congratulations! You have been made a bureaucrat by the community at Simple English Wikipedia in an unopposed new-style nomination. Yottie or maybe someone else will doubtless find you new crappy t-shirt! Welcome to the team and good luck! :P fr33kman 05:05, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Congrats also. Sorry about the confusion, but I didn't want anyone to question whether you had "actually" passed. Welcome to the cabal crat team. EhJJTALK 09:28, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
No worries I understand! :) and thank you! James (T C) 03:34, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Just wanted to come by and offer my congratulations now that your RfB has been (maybe?) closed successfully. :) Cheers, @Lauryn (parlez) 20:19, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Didn't even notice it was up. Oh well, congrats nonetheless. –Juliancolton | Talk 18:59, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Fail! :) Thank you all. James (T C) 19:14, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your Crat T-shirt[change source]

Hello, Jamesofur. Congrats, again. I went to the store and this was the best I could afford:

Jamesofur's Crat T-shirt
Jamesofur's Crat T-shirt

(I collapsed it to prevent it from being dirty for your first wear.) Hope it fits!  Hazard-SJ Talk 03:59, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked (Crat shirt)[change source]

Hello. What took you so long to block the IP? (I haven't seen you in a while; are you enjoying the crat shirt I left you? Hazard-SJ Talk 06:47, 12 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm enjoying it thank you :) It was nice and clean when I got it. I do tend to look into IPs a bit before I block just so that it sometimes takes a couple minutes but with that particular one I think the biggest thing was that I didn't notice it until right then (I was in the middle of a meeting but noticed the report in another channel). James (T C) 18:35, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New job with WMF![change source]

Congratulations you on your brand new staff job with the Wikimedia Foundation as an Associate Community Officer!! I think it is a great role for such a community and project focused person like you. We've been friends for a while and you've always struck me as a wise and intellegent guy. I think that you will benefit from working at WMF and that the foundation and volunteer community will both benefit by having such a enthusiatic, knowledgable and understanding person. Well done! :) fr33kman 02:09, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! <3 James (T C) 04:19, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You are now the second time in your live our newest cu here on simple. Rights have been granted via meta. You should still have access to the channels and I think you are still list admin, so nothing that needs to be done. Welcome back! -Barras (talk) 10:00, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Congratulations, Jamesofur, and thank you for coming back! ingly, Bella tête-à-tête 10:01, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
