January 2015[change source]

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but "Socialist Republic of Romania" was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before or immediately after being added to the Simple English Wikipedia. In addition, be sure to include attribution on the article's talk page. Thank you. See the guideline Wikipedia:How to copy from another Wikipedia Rus793 (talk) 15:01, 31 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

In your welcome message above you will also find a link to "How to write Simple English pages". Simple English Wikipedia is for children and adults who are learning English, not for those who already read complex English—that is what the English Wikipedia is for. Also above is a link to ask for any help you need in writing or simplifying (and wikifying) articles from other wikipedias. Thank you. Rus793 (talk) 15:11, 31 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[change source]

Please do not make unhelpful changes to Wikipedia. The changes you made seem to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you want to try changing Wikipedia to learn more about how it works, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Adding complex unsimplified text is not what we want. Write simply. Do not copy/paste[change source]

Your recent changes to Malawi are a direct copy of material from English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before being added to the Simple English Wikipedia. In addition, be sure to include attribution on the article's talk page. Thank you.
