Why did you delete Tim Walberg? He is a notable politician with 66000 google hits, and a substantial entry on the english wikiepdia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Walberg

I am going to recreate the article, feel free to nominate it for deletion but please do not deleate it straight away - I think it has a chance. Thank you Andre Robinson (talk) 23:50, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Simple talk[change source]

Not often is it that we agree, but your suggestions and commentary on Simple Talk are very on point. I actually made those comments months before you did as "FürWissen2" and "HappyWanderer" at the Wikipedia Review, about Asteroid stubs, and how this place changed from "an encyclopedia for people struggling to learn English" to "a penal colony for mostly under-14 children who were banned at English Wikipedia and haven't reformed a bit". When I said so, nobody listened to me, they blew me off. I made some suggestions here almost five months ago, and they were dismissed by administrator Kennedy as "social comment". I made criticism on Wikipedia Review (here as FürWissen2, and here as HappyWanderer, note that 'The Wales Hunter' is not me), as well as at the Encyc Forum under my name. Note the time in which the comments about you were made: this is was when you were doing Wikipedia's dirty work and following "what a good boy should do" as an administrator, i.e., helping to ban me from the site and get rid of me. Now when you stand up to the same stupidity that I talked about (though admittedly a bit more soft than I), you are allowed to do it without being whined to by a bunch of little children. How does that work?

I predicted that this site would go south very soon. And I was correct. If we don't fix things instantly, then this project will crumble. You seem to be smarter than the average administrator. You should leave the place.

Thank you,

Jonas Rand

This IP has been blocked as its Jonas. I'll leave this message here though, its up to you Majorly if you want to keep/delete. Kennedy (talk) 09:02, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Jonas, you're a little child yourself, whining at me. Go away and stop whining about things not being fair. You weren't listened to because you're an annoying little kid with issues.
Leaving would be a great way to help the site "crumble", so I won't be going anywhere. Majorly talk 16:45, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Messaging[change source]

Hi, I have some questions: What do you think, that I am stupid, or what? Everybody knows how to use headline, and I also wrote many of articles on: this project and Serbian language same project, I wish you to have a good day, today, Regards, --AleksA 17:37, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm creating Kotor because KotOR points to the video game and could baffle those who look for information about the city in Montenegro. Texcarson (talk) 23:22, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That isn't article, that's a sentence - that doesn't show any importance. Majorly talk 23:26, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I need some more time to expand it appropriately. Texcarson (talk) 23:27, 29 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I wrote back to you on my RfA about the difference between advertising and adding an external link. I'll admit that I wasn't as nice to User:Thekohser as I would be to a typical new user, because of his open disapproval of Wikipedia and being banned on en. I'll be more careful in the future to make sure I'm fair and AGF with all users. Thanks again! EhJJTALK 05:14, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

speedy delete?[change source]

Nanny Express is a new article with no sources about a TV show in 2040. It sounds like a fake to me. Please look it over. Thanks. Griffinofwales (talk) 03:08, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted! 2040 is a tad too WP:SNOW and this article seems to be a total hoax fr33kman talk 03:24, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
In the future, you can always add the {{QD}} tag, and it will be quickly deleted if it satisfies our criteria (which are almost identical to the ones on EN). EhJJTALK 03:37, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The fact that it isn't on enwiki is a good (though not flawless) barometer. EVula // talk // 03:38, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article suddenly turned red colour and was away. It said you deleted it. Why? Me English is bad at times but the man was very notable, he has an article on French, Dutch, English and Frisian wikipedia. Could you perhaps help me to make a very good article? With the other articles I written people helped me all the time. Otherwise it would not be good. :) -'J. B. A. Evháh'- (talk) 14:38, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It is best to follow another article for guidelines on how they are written. The article read like a find-a-grave biography. Normally, we start with their name, years of life, then a summary of their life and why they are important. See this very good article for how our articles are written. Good luck, Majorly talk 14:40, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I will write it then. Will you tell me if it is good when I'm finished? I'll tell you when I'm finished! :) Thanks! -'J. B. A. Evháh'- (talk) 14:42, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I just finished writing the article! Is it good now? If it is not good you could maybe rewrite it, okay? -'J. B. A. Evháh'- (talk) 15:01, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

WP:DUCK[change source]

Hi Majorly. I'm in the process of simplifying the en.wiki version of WP:DUCK as we seem to be getting more and more checkuser requests, and several of them can be dealt with using the duck test. Just wanted to let you know so that you could link to WP:DUCK rather than the en.wiki variant. Cheers! The Rambling Man (talk) 18:34, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Good idea. Majorly talk 18:36, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Done, hopefully it covers the main issue, I tried to provide a specific RCU example. The Rambling Man (talk) 18:51, 16 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Majorly, this isn't about notability, its a redirect! I don't want to wheel war with you, but seriously, the reason isn't valid! Yotcmdr =talk to the commander= 21:58, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

12george1[change source]

I have given a 3 month block to 12george1 since they recently uploaded an image, after being told not to, and after you block and unblock with warning that future problems might see a block without warning. I think 3 months is a good amount of time. Cheers fr33kman talk 02:42, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bambifan report[change source]

Hi. I can't block this guy myself over on this site and IMO, anyone with nore than one hundred sockpuppets on ENWP alone in less than a year counts as a vandal. Please reconsider blocking User:Lackland, John immediately. I blocked an account of the same name at EN and sure enough, I got the usual abusive rant hurled at me and others on his talk page. Please, just block this guy since a sock check simply takes too long--PMDrive1061 (talk) 23:00, 1 June 2009 (UTC).[reply]

Please don't boss me around, and abuse your rollback tool in the process. He doesn't need indef-blocking - he hasn't even made any edits. No offence, but you seem to be obsessed with him. Please stop following him around and giving him loads of attention that he craves. Majorly talk 23:05, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Say what? I am doing no such thing. He's made plenty of edits both here and on EN. If you'd rather deal with him without any outside help, fine. Please don't confuse an urgent, well-meaning message with "bossing." --PMDrive1061 (talk) 23:12, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No edits with this account that you find so urgent to block. I'm sure you're very well meaning, but it's not at all urgent, and your rollback of my removal of your post really wasn't helpful. If he starts editing, we'll deal with it then. He might not though. Majorly talk 23:17, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Point taken. Thanks. Sorry if I got hot, but this guy is driving us all batty at EN. Take care and please keep up the good work. PMDrive1061 (talk) 23:22, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's annoying here too, but I'm trying to use the strategy of giving him as little attention as possible. I mean, he's probably reading this right now laughing his little head off. If we just block as soon as we see him, don't leave him any messages, and just get on with things, it'll make it less entertaining for him. Majorly talk 23:24, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I apologize I reverted your comment. I was not ready to go live yet, there is more I'd like to write. Cheers, NonvocalScream (talk) 16:58, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
