Interwiki links (connecting to other languages)[change source]

Hello, and welcome! I'm happy you are here and wanted to thank you for your work. We definitely need more content, and its great to see your translations from the JA wiki. Just one thing I wanted to point out is how we do interwiki connections. (This is what connects the "languages" links in the left sidebar. Instead of making an interwiki link using something like "[[ja:増田久弥]]" it is best to connect the pages using Wikidata. Not only will this automatically add new languages in future, if created. But it also is the key to making the authority control template work. You'll note on your page Kyuya Masuda that is working now that I connected Wikidata. You can find some good help on Wikipedia:Interwiki. Thanks again for your contributions! Desertborn (talk) 06:45, 17 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

August 2020[change source]

Hello, MathXplore! Here at Simple English Wikipedia we use the section heading "Other websites" instead of English Wikipedia's "External links". This makes it simpler and easier to read. Please remember to use "Other websites" in articles that you create in the future. Thank you for your help! --IWI (talk) 13:38, 24 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
