Hello, you have tagged this article as {{unsimple}}.[1] I have taken noticed into your statement, and I want to know what section(s) of the article you may find unsimple. If any, please show me the errors or issues I may have overlooked so that I can fix them. --§ Snake311 (I'm Not Okay!) 01:12, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
- I've added some <!-- hidden comments --> to try and explain it :). —MC8 (b · t) 09:05, Monday August 10 2009 (UTC)
- Done I have re-edited the article and simplified the words or phrases you found were unsimple.[2] I have also removed the {{unsimple}} tag. --§ Snake311 (I'm Not Okay!) 22:54, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Melbourne
Hi, you left a message suggesting I expand this before adding futher towns. Is this a policy or guideline? I havent any interest in expanding this article (or I would do without prompting) on simple so are you asking me to stop adding towns and other simplified versions of en articles? Victuallers (talk) 09:50, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- No, not a policy or guideline. Do what you like, it's just my opinion. Feel free to keep adding towns and things :) —MC8 (b · t) 09:56, Thursday August 13 2009 (UTC)
- Pity, I think the project could do with some guidelines ... :) Victuallers (talk) 10:04, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
issues
One, purple is not an admin and cannot delete the Wikiproject himself, and two, this is an improper use of the rollback tool. I know you meant well, but next time use Twinkle. Griffinofwales (talk) 16:58, 13 August 2009 (GMT)
- What do you mean "Can't delete WikiProject himself"? Pmlineditor Talk 17:00, 13 August 2009 (GMT)
- He created a Wikiproject in WP space and I QD tagged it. MC removed it saying that he was in a discussion with Purple, but I don't see how the discussion changed anything. Griffinofwales (talk) 17:01, 13 August 2009 (GMT)
- I saw. Let the discussion end and then think about reverting it. Please don't get into an edit war. Thanks, Pmlineditor Talk 17:03, 13 August 2009 (GMT)

- (change conflict) (change conflict) Why should I use Twinkle? Research would have shown that things were already being dealt with; move first, then delete. It's also common courtesy to raise it with the user first if they're active. Oh, and en:WP:DTTR —MC8 (b · t) 17:05, Thursday August 13 2009 (GMT)
- The warning part of Twinkle is optional. Close the popup. With twinkle, you can rollback edits that you couldn't normally because you can use an edit summary with the normal rollback and the AGF rollback options. I saw that you were already talking with Purple, and I knew you would tell him about the Wikiproject rule. QD tagging isn't deletion, and thanks for reminding about the R2 rule (I never use it). Griffinofwales (talk) 17:09, 13 August 2009 (GMT)
- I refuse to use Twinkle. One, my tabs are pretty much full (see pic above). Two, I've never got it working. Three, I don't need to use it. It was obvious as to why the page was rollbacked, and was quicker than undo. The quick deletion tag is akin to deleting it. One should enter into a dialogue with an editor before deleting a page, so one should when tagging it for quick deletion. —MC8 (b · t) 17:14, Thursday August 13 2009 (GMT)
- Talk to the expert. Rollbacking is for vandalism. Have the expert deactivate the warning part of Twinkle and it will not add any new tabs. You already had a dialogue, and you had already mentioned deleting it. I went ahead and QD tagged it. Griffinofwales (talk) 17:17, 13 August 2009 (GMT)

<-Overuse? That's the great part about Twinkle, you can't overuse it. It's like the undo button, anybody can use it! Griffinofwales (talk) 17:26, 13 August 2009 (GMT)
ATB
Hi, I deleted ATB as per your QD request - I would have deleted if I had seen it sooner. However, after discussion with the editor I have been convinced ATB is notable and have restored the page. I have since added an opening paragraph based on enwiki which proves notability I think. --Peterdownunder (talk) 02:33, 26 August 2009 (GMT)

- Ah. In future, please reference the edit summaries, it's not clear that that is what you are talking about :D —MC8 (b · t) 18:43, Wednesday August 26 2009 (UTC)
deletion tag
I have removed your tag. I created the article because a non-autoconfirmed user could not create the article because the term 'ffin' was in it (Gri'ffin'ofwales). I am not sure why the user has not created the article yet, but I will be checking shortly. Griffinofwales (talk) 21:10, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
?
WP:WCLTTW? I looked it up here and at enWP and I can't find it. Griffinofwales (talk) 22:28, 29 August 2009 (UTC)

stupid question
This is a stupid question but why did you add lugar's name to the cat? Griffinofwales (talk) 21:55, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
- On this page, [[Category:Users]] sorts under "U". [[Category:Users|Microchip08]] sorts under "M". Although, I was probably wrong in doing that with the article. —MC8 (b · t) 21:57, Sunday August 30 2009 (UTC)
- I see, so Joe Biden would be listed under B and not J. Makes sense to me. Griffinofwales (talk) 22:02, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
You keep citing WCLTTW (like here) but no such page exists here or on the English Wikipedia. What exactly are you attempting to point to? Thanks, Either way (talk) 14:10, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Bricks and rocks
I did not understand the edit summary here. Sometimes I'm a brick when it comes to sayings :) I'm sorry if my comment there was not clear... it is a bad habit of mine to hit the save before I'm all done with a comment, and my edits to the wiki reflect this all around. This is a habit I'll have to kick. Perhaps you could clarify the edit summary to me? :) Very best and be well, NonvocalScream (talk) 16:41, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
p.s. Love the snake. NonvocalScream (talk) 16:41, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
- Nothing exciting, Tor is a rocky hill, Tor (software) is the software BG7 is trying to use. I was merely correcting the link to an in-context article. As per the 'saying': "like a brick" is c. 19 century slang for "good, dependable, loyal"(being friends on IRC); and "that's bricked it", meaning "that's spoiling it", c. 1930 (his blocklog); and "to barge into", c. early 20th century, for "to push, barge into" (his various WP:BOLD blocks). [mind you, that's not what I was even meaning; I was just thinking of some kind of saying involving types of stone, and making it up in the end. So researching the answer to your question managed to turn up a pretty big coincidence :D] —MC8 (b · t) 16:58, Wednesday September 9 2009 (UTC)
- Adding more to the whole bricking thing, "brickish" means 'jolly', which was in mainstream usage c.1950 [which was what I was looking for!] —MC8 (b · t) 17:03, Wednesday September 9 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for your comments on the schools discussion page re my edits at Noadswood School. I'd be grateful if you could now remove the paragraph at the top of the Noadswood School page which states that a major contributor has a conflict of interest; the points on the page are complete fact and my motivation behind developing the page was merely to contribute to the WikiSchools project rather than advertise or promote the school - we are not a business and we very much work in partnership with our local schools. I would also reiterate my point on the WikiSchools page that it is going to be hard for pages to develop without the contributions of staff and it's a shame that by trying to be open and honest about who was editing the page these issues have occurred. Moral of the story - stop being honest and choose a more ambiguous username in the future perhaps!! In light of the difficulties it is likely to present if I continue to try to develop the page I'll also stop wasting my time in this regard - please understand that I'm not meaning to sound churlish but I really do have plenty of better things to do!! Best regards, Tim Ennion. Timennion (talk) 22:50, 19 December 2009 (UTC)
