I responded to your Talk:Homosexuality comment with my own, which ends up as simply the old "are we really ready to say that yet?" question. BTW: My basic stance comes down to the not-quite-well-put "If I can't explain _how_ it came to be that I feel the way I do, how can I explain/determine/dictate how someone else truly feels the way they do?" Sorting in categories[change source]

Nick, I see that you are working on filling up Category:Politicians. One thing though. Can you make sure that people are sorted properly? If you add a pipe ("|") after the category, you can sort them by last name first. Is this clear? -- Ricky81682 (talk) 23:21, 20 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Already fixed. Just a "now you know" thing. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 23:57, 20 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Sex and Romance[change source]

Then it should not say just "love" because love can be understand too many ways, nor should it say "sexually AND romantically" because it can be one or the other, or both. For instance someone can romantically love someone of the same sex, but not have sex with them, or one can have sex with someone of the same sex, and not be romantically attracted to them. See the article on EN for what I mean. The article here is too simple. I was trying to fix the statement about "love" and the statement about "AND". Don't accuse me of not having a neutral point of view! 65.31.115.145 01:20, 21 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Do whatever you want with that article, if this is the way people are going to yell at me for trying to help wikipedia, then I don't care anymore. 65.31.115.145 02:33, 21 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Talk:Simple English Lessons[change source]

I protected that page. It's already been deleted for spam eight times this month. I wanted to long ago, but was a little gun-shy since this is the first time any administrator has prevented the creation of a page (and I've been an admin less than a month). -- Ricky81682 (talk) 23:20, 21 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Adminship[change source]

I too realize that part of this (like most things) is a popularity contest. However, I am watching the discussion between you and User:65.31.115.145 (I probably would agree with you but I really would rather stay away from the argument if I can) and I believe that you have been much better about this than him. That is where the ability to block, protect pages, etc makes me really want people who have a large amount of edits and a lot of interaction with other people. I've seen it on English where they made an admin out of someone who is very protective about pages and it causes a lot of problems. It's nothing personal. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 23:36, 21 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]
