In case you hadn't noticed, the archives link on your talk page doesn't go anywhere. It looks like you're archiving to a different page than the archives template expects. --Auntof6 (talk) 19:13, 3 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

How about now? Osiris (talk) 04:34, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Looks good now. --Auntof6 (talk) 05:05, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Cool, thanks for letting me know. :) Osiris (talk) 05:06, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for adding BLP unsourced

Thanks for adding BLP unsourced to {{articleissues}} -- I've often wished that one was there. May I give you a gentle reminder that it should be added to the doc page as well? I could do that if you want, just let me know. :) --Auntof6 (talk) 16:47, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No worries. I haven't forgotten about the doc page—I'm in the middle of overhauling the template completely, so I'll fix up the doc when I'm finished (probably by today). Osiris (talk) 07:20, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Good -- it needed overhauling! I made a start on it, but my learning curve with this stuff is pretty steep. (I'm a programmer, but on mainframes, and they use all different stuff.) --Auntof6 (talk) 09:54, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well I'm really just copying off the enwiki version... I've finished the /doc, will update your workpage tomorrow. Osiris (talk) 18:11, 6 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Whosequote

I've left a message for you at en:Template talk:Whosequote. Please reply there, as I won't be watching this page at "simple". -- John of Reading (talk) 14:28, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Template edit

What did you think you wre doing with this edit? Please reply on my talkpage on the "normal" Wikipedia where you made the edit in question. Debresser (talk) 23:45, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Is this one we can get rid of? It's empty, it has the "since" in the title, and it's in a weird category -- Category:Clean up categories from 00 2011. --Auntof6 (talk) 09:17, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The template had a typo on the parameters that caused it not to request its own qd. Patched that up and it tagged itself. Cat is still there though.. 70.184.171.16 (talk) 09:22, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
take that back.. it did work, but but wasn't a correct fix (wasnt even a typo.. something else screwy here) still looking 70.184.171.16 (talk) 09:26, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Odd and interesting. The template parameters were set for Monthno but not month name - this was the main issue as it didnt know that month 12 is December and hence got its targetting wrong for the cat name (it just called it month 00). The qd is a separate issue - the core for the template has a built in timer check - it would only qd if category is for a month that is more than one month ago (ie. December 2011 was only last month so it won't let it self-QD). I shortened the timer but left it in place. It now will just ignore the current month (as it could likely still be needed) but will let any past month go.
Tagged another issue as well - the cat name - The template seaches for the first few letters after the string "from" in the page name - this category uses Since, not from.. it screwed it all up for the get go on which month it was. 70.184.171.16 (talk) 09:53, 9 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism

Osiris, You don't know Electric mouse, and electric mouse might not only Pikachu, it also a Pichu or Raichu. Osiris make vandalism. 116.68.248.117 06:10, 10 January 2012

We don't need an article for every type of Pokémon monster. I would have nominated the article for deletion, but the enwiki version redirects it to Pikachu, which is just as good and makes less work for everybody. Osiris (talk) 06:19, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Big Airport Weekend - January 20-23

We want to invite you to participate in the Big Airport Weekend on Jan 20-23. (See: WP:Big Weekend) The purpose of this weekend is to improve SEWP's coverage of airports and airport related articles. A few tasks and guidelines:

  1. Add {{Infobox airport}} to all airport articles
  2. To improve existing articles and stubs in the Category:Airports including subcategories.
  3. To add new articles on airports. (Any airport with regular commercial service or where a historic event happened is notable enough for an article.)
  4. Airports can be civilian, military, and anywhere in the world.
  5. Add BAW (for Big Airport Weekend) to the edit summaries to help keep track of the changes.
  6. Please use the {{inuse}} template to avoid edit conflicts with other BAW participants.

Barnstars will be liberally rewarded for your airport efforts. Let me know if you have any questions. Please join us to have fun and to improve SEWP. Thanks, Racepacket (talk) 20:22, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Woah ...

The Working Wikipedian's Barnstar
You've barely been on here a month and you've already got over 3,000 changes and have been an all-round helpful editor here. Impressive. Orashmatash (talk) 21:14, 13 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Haha, thanks Orashmatash! Though I don't fight wikicrime nearly as effectively as you do! Checked the numbers today myself actually—it seems I have waaay too much spare time... Osiris (talk) 21:20, 13 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Talkback

Hello, Osiris. You have new messages at Normandy's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

I hate using this template but its because I missed your message on my talkpage yesterday, sorry Normandy 23:40, 14 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Swag Team article

The references do not mention "Swag(g) Team". It looks copied from another article. (also he has locked accounts and has been making these pages for months, see WP:AN#Hardcor). πr2 16:57, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sweet, I knew something was not right about it. I've already QD'd one of them. Osiris (talk) 17:01, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Misspelled word

I spotted and corrected a word u misspelled, it was gathering but the typo was gthering. Kindest regards-Anyonomous

Nice catch! Thank you, Osiris (talk) 17:09, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

National airport

I used the name "Washington National Airport" because we are supposed to use the most common name. Around here, everyone calls it "National Airport." I set up a redirect for "Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport". I was surprized that you changed it and was wondering if you woud consider changing it back? Thanks, Racepacket (talk) 14:26, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that, I didn't check to see when it was created. There was a request about it on ST (it's at the bottom)—can you comment there? Trying to figure out what the common name is. Osiris (talk) 14:28, 22 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

New messages

Hi Osiris. I have responded on my talk page. Orashmatash (talk) 18:58, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And again. Orashmatash (talk) 19:02, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!

Thank you for the new inline templates -- very useful! --Auntof6 (talk) 20:56, 23 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

No problem! I'm almost done with the sourcing ones, but I am wondering just how many are really going to be used... It might be more practical to have just a few general ones rather than all the variations found on en. Let me know if you have any thoughts (I was planning to come and bug you about it when finished anyway). Osiris (talk) 04:07, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism?

What is it that is vandalism here? -Porch corpter (talk/contribs) 11:02, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

My apologies. Had a lot of windows open, must have pressed the rollback button on the wrong one. Sorry, Osiris (talk) 11:13, 25 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Osiris' Day

Osiris has been identified as an Awesome Wikipedian,
and therefore, I've officially declared today as Osiris' day!
For being such a great wikipedian and kind person,
enjoy being the Star of the day, dear Osiris!

Cheers, Chenzw  Talk  09:43, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A record of your Day will always be kept here.

Aw, thanks Chenzw!!! Osiris (talk) 09:47, 26 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for adding dates

Hi Osiris,

Thanks for adding the dates to my recent "dead link" tags. I need a reminder sometimes, but I made sure to date all the ones I did today. Much appreciated, Gotanda (talk) 04:49, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I saw. Thank you, though it's really not that big of a deal. Please don't feel obliged to date them or worry about it too much if you don't. You do an excellent job as it is. Osiris (talk) 05:07, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
But I forgot those darned categories today. Thanks for catching them. Gotanda (talk) 04:53, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No problem! Osiris (talk) 04:57, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Aviation barnstar

Congratulations!

Re:Welcome

Hello, Mr. Osiris!

Thank you for providing a welcome greeting from you. Nice to meet you. Wagino 20100516 (talk) 09:54, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Likewise, Wagino! Hope you have fun editing here. Osiris (talk) 11:09, 28 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

realy?

First Sahv reverts my posts and now you are? Is there a revert-a-thon going on around here where I'm the vandal-prime? --Creol(talk) 10:12, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Creol!! I'm sorry, I was in the middle of reverting a string of malicious content from redlinked users that my firewall wouldn't let me view. I saw Pure Evil had been reverted by Sahv moments before and assumed it was the same vandal whose edits I couldn't view. Apologies! :) Osiris (talk) 10:18, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No prob, I just get to play target at times like that. Serves me right for the alt name :) Pure Evil (talk) 10:20, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes the name, I was going to say... ;) Osiris (talk) 10:23, 29 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Many thanks for the barnstar. On another subject, I could really use your assistance in contacting the bot operator that drives the pmid and doi templates. I believe it would be easy to expand the scope of the bot to include the Simple English Wikipedia, but we need to reach them. Whatever help you can give would be appreciated. Thanks, Racepacket (talk) 05:38, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The owner is Smith609. I'm not yet very established on enwiki, so you'd have to either contact him yourself or ask one of the admins around here. Osiris (talk) 08:05, 31 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
