Template:Namespaces[change source]

Hello, your edit here seems to have broken many pages and templates. The template here is used as a sort of converter for namespace names (mainspace -> article, help -> help page, you can see it used at {{RfD}}), and isn't used as a namespace table like on enwiki. Hi, is there a particular reason you moved {{namespaces}} to {{namespaces conversion}}? We try to follow the naming convention as on the English Wikipedia where possible. Chenzw Talk 01:23, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

An unrelated thing I noticed about {{namespaces}}: Portal, portal talk, draft, and draft talk namespaces do not exist on simplewiki, and timedtext and timedtext talk exist, but there are no pages in those namespaces. So the template should be modified for this wiki instead of for enwiki. I think Portal/Draft are not installed, and TimedText is deprecated, but I'm not sure. Template:Special pages list[change source]

Why did you add a lot of links to enwiki at Template:Special pages list? Those should be removed unless there's a reason to have them. For example, en:Wikipedia:Database reports/Forgotten articles doesn't help with editing simplewiki. Lights and freedom (talk) 23:02, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

February 2024[change source]

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but "List of Wikipedias" was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before or immediately after being added to the Simple English Wikipedia.
